After three LOOOONG hours of stuffing myself in that dress, I was done putting it on.
When I went out of the bathroom, I saw it was sunset.
My eyes widened, it was time for the wedding…
My heart began to pump fast, cold sweat broke out.
“Who’s going to go first?” Tala asked.
“First for what?” I asked.
“To get married.” Tala responded.
“Well, since you are marrying someone of a bit of lower status, I think you guys will go first. No offence about the lower status thing.” I explained.
“None taken.” Tala said.
Someone knocked on the door, “Miss Tala, it’s time!”
“Okay!” She called.
We opened the door and saw her father.
“Come on.” He said.
Tala nodded.
I squeezed her hand and we followed her father into a room with red carpets, gold walls, a diamond chandelier, and the marriage altar that was made of gold and encrusted with pure diamonds.
On the altar was the priest, and Tidwulf.
Tidwulf was in his light blue tuxedo with a light blue top hat, with a white ribbon and bow on it.
The music started to play and the ceremony began.
After a while, and after they finished their vows, something happened…
“OPEN THE CURTAINS!!!” Tidwulf called.
Someone ran across and opened the curtains.
The bright moonlight filled the room and… Tala screamed.
Everyone that was a werewolf including Tidwulf transformed into their werewolf forms.
Tidwulf grabbed Tala’s wrist and quickly sunk his teeth into Tala’s hand.
She cried out in sheer pain, her eyes flipped back, showing all white and they glowed, she slowly became a werewolf…
Fur grew all over her body, a tail grew, and her human ears shrunken back into her head and wolf ears out.
Tala howled, she had become a werewolf.
“You may kiss the bride!” Howled the priest.
Tidwulf grabbed Tala’s cheeks and kissed her on the lips.
“Close the curtains!” The priest called.
Someone closed the curtains and everyone turned back to normal humans.
Tala tried to back away from Tidwulf but Tidwulf wouldn’t let her go.
“Alright um… let’s get the married couple to stop kissing and so I can get to marry my fiance’.” Called a familiar voice.
After seeing the pain Tala had to go through, I didn’t want to become a werewolf.
So I quickly snuck out before anyone could do anything and I bursted into a run.
I ran as fast as I could, down the stairs and out into the royal garden.
Luckily, the royal gardens lead out to the woods so I bursted as fast as I could into the woods.
I looked back, luckily, no one had followed.
I began to run farther and farther.
Before I even realised it, I was at the beach.
“ALORA!!!” Called a voice.
I turned around and saw Skol in werewolf form coming right at me, at full turbo speed.
I ran out of the way and Skol couldn’t change direction so he landed right into the water.
When he got up, he was covered in soggy sand and he was wet.
I backed away, not looking at him as he tried to call me.
Pain welded my eyes.
I ran away from him…
And now here I am, in my secret den, crying in my nest…
It’s been a while of me crying, suddenly, I heard a voice… “Alora…”
I looked up and saw Skol standing in the doorway.
He looked relieved to finally find me but looked concerned, seeing my tear stained face.
“Alora…” He sat next to me and hugged me. “Why did you run away?”
“Because I was afraid…” I spoke softly, my face flushed with embarrassment.
“Afraid of what?” Skol wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on my head.
“Of becoming a werewolf.” I responded.
“It’s going to be okay.” He said.
“Yep! I can even have you guys marry right now, in private!” A voice called.
I could feel Skol’s face turn a bit, “I think Alora would like that.”
I nodded smally.
After a while, we said our vows, and our I do’s and then… I was bitten…
Skol guided me out into the moonlight, I felt a little woozy, but then… I transformed.
“Come on princess.” Skol grabbed my hand and we walked back to the castle…
