My eyes shot open as I found myself surrounded by lights. Is this the afterlife? Someone, presumably a nurse swam in front of me.
"Good, you're finally awake. We thought you wouldn't make it."
"What about Henry, is he ok?"
"The other humans? We don't know about them."
"What do you mean, I have to see him, make sure he's ok." I sluggishly sat up but the nurse pushed me back down.
