Alright, so, as much as I love her she's literally nothing but Deku's love interest. The only reason I don't like her is because of Deku, her character development, and her execution.1987Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡDpZhN07iFU
Read me out, in the first season she's sweet and she shows great potential. But the more she looks up to Deku the less I liked her. Her motive was realistic, and she seemed pretty focused, but the more Deku became involved in her life, the more I started the hate her. When she started fighting, I wished she'd be more creative instead of imitating Deku, she's smart so I wished instead of being inspired by Deku for everything she could've figured something out. I would've rather that when she saw Deku working hard, she felt the need to push herself to her limits and become stronger to work towards her goal. Her character development revolved around Deku one way or another. But that's the thing. It's all about Deku. Each character who gets some development has something to do with Deku, he can sort of encourage her for this development but not be the main cause of it. Finally, the reason I don't like her is because of her execution. A love interest is supposed to have a relationship grow. Her crush on Deku never grew. They never had a heart-to-heart, never a talk, no moments. Don't even comment with the "He saved her" or "He blushes around her" He did so with almost every girl. And him saving her could've been executed better too, maybe have them lock eyes or something.
