Chapter 3 – Kids get spoiled: Nile has a crush/ New best friend: Mother’s surgery

The kids were greeted by a butler who takes them inside to meet Mr. President. Mr. President is standing on his steps and next to him is his daughter Lily. Nile was so amazed at the different types of things around him. Mr. President introduces himself and lily, and then Nile introduces each of his siblings. After they finished Mr. president asked, “Would each of you like to see your very own rooms!” The kids squealed with delight. Nile was shocked at the fact that he had an elevator, but he was even more shocked at how cute Lily was, even though she was like 11 he didn’t care. Nile tried not to blush, but I think Sophia saw and giggled and made noises with her lips. Nile was incredibly embarrassed and tried to act professionally. I don’t think that helped him very much though. Lily said, “Father, may I take Nile up to his room?” Nile gulped at the fact that he was going on an awkward elevator adventure with a cute girl. Mr. President responded with a thumbs up. So Lily motioned Nile to follow her to the elevator, Nile quietly sighed, and wheeled over to the elevator. All the other kids ran up the stairs which left Nile and Lily looking at each other in silence, waiting on the elevator. Two awkward minutes passed, and the elevator opened, they walked in and went up. Lily could not bare the silence so she sparked up a conversation by asking Nile about his dad. Nile was shocked that she even asked about his dad since they knew nothing about each other. Nile gives Lily the whole run down about how his dad is off to war to protect the country, and that his dad was the bravest of them all. Lily just rolled her eyes at that part while the elevator dinged and they exited into a big hallway that had about 8 rooms. Lily took a left then Nile followed, and they showed up at a big door that looked like it might be able to fit his wheelchair through, which gave Nile hope. What he didn’t expect to see was a room the size of his house.
