“ Okay girl , we're meeting the others at the grill.”
Aria said after our last lessons , it's been over a month since I came here and I already love her ( not in a romantic way just a best buddy anyone could wish for.)
“ And how did you decide I'm gonna come?” She looked at me with puppy eyes
“ Oh come on Sky you need a break , pretty please?”
She grabbed my arm and started shaking me , she is more strong than me and she shook me like I'm some damn shaking thingy.
“ Ar I can't I have to go grab my little brat from school.”
“ Then bring him with us, come on sky please.” she nudged me again and I sighed. I grabbed my phone and called my mum. She took some time to respond, hope she wasn't sleeping and I woke her up.
“ Yes , hunny what's the matter?” she responded with a low voice/
“ Mum are you ok?”
“Yes hunny just tired , Sam just slept after I gave her the bottle and I was thinking to rest a bit , do you mind buying something for Andy?”
“ Yeah mum about that , some friends are hanging around at the grill do you think I can take him there and buy him food and I stay a bit but only if you feel like staying alone. I don't mind coming home.”
“ Dear , you spent almost a year taking care of me and the home , the least you can do is go and have fun Andy wouldn't mind.”
“ Thank you mum , go rest okay ? Love you.”
“ Love you too dear.” She hung up and I sighed. When I turned to face Aria her mouth was open and she was staring at me.
“ What?” I said while rolling my eyes
“ You're like a mama girl.”
“ Hell no I'm not , come on lets go grab my brother.”
After grabbing my brother we headed to the grill.
“ Sky we're here.” I heard Luke shouting as we headed their way.
“ Luke , you were right she is a young mama.” Jack snorted out
“ Oh shut up Jack.” I sat down and grabbed Andy and placed him on my lap. he hugged me and wouldn't let go.
“ Andy they won't hurt you , we're gonna grab some food and go near mama okay?” he nodded and turn around to face everyone. He blushed and introduced himself , something Dad always reminded us , being polite is the most beautiful think you can be.
“ Um... Hi I'm Andy.” He said and Aria cupped his small face and started kissing him all over.
“ Oh he's so cute.” She said while letting him go , the poor guy kept blushing which made his blue eyes pop.
“ Okay small fry so these are the people I hang out with at school , this is Aria you already know her , than there's the boys , Jack the goofy and stupid one , then there are Jace and Josh which think they are funny but in truth they are not and finally there's Luke the man who thinks he's superman.”
They all looked at me and small Andy and Aria bursted out laughing as the others protested , but in the end we all joined the laughter.
“ Sky buy me food I'm hungry and we should buy something for mama and Sam.” Andy whined as Aria came with the menus.
“ Well first we buy for you and then we buy for mama okay ? And Sam can't eat yet she takes milk like you did just few years ago.”
“ Did daddy give me the bottle?” I looked at him and the others looked at me with worried eyes , they all know what happened and we became close. With Aria and Luke mostly but when Luke presented me to his friends we all clicked together.
“ Well , yeah he did hun and he sang you a lullaby to sleep every night when you couldn't sleep.” he looked up at me while trying not to cry.
“Can you sing it for me?” he pleaded
“ Okay hun , when you go to sleep tonight I will sing it for you and Sam okay ? Now choose your food.”
He turned to the menus and I sighed. Luke mouthed at me – You ok?- I nodded and after taking our time deciding we ordered our food.
“ See you guys next week then.”
I said while holding sleepy Andy in my arms.
“ Yeah lav.” Aria said and came to give me and Andy a kiss on the cheek, Jack was taking her home since they lived near each other and the others all headed there way after giving me a small hug trying not to crush Andy, only Luke stayed behind.
“ Want me to take you home?” he said seeming worried.
“ It's ok , I can drive plus I have a car seat.” I said while smiling at him , he tried to smile back but failed at the attempt
“ Whats going on?” I asked him.
“ I'm just worried about you.” I looked at him , he didn't live far and was on foot.
“ Okay , you can drive me home but later I will drive you home.”
I said while offering him my car keys he smiled and took them from my outstretched hand. We drove home while chatting a bit on our stupid friends but we had fun and tomorrow if mum would be good with it we're going to a club.
“ Come in but don't make any sounds or I will kick your..”
I covered Andy's ears, and mouthed – balls...- he chuckled softly and nodded and we went in silently, I checked on my mum which was sleeping on the couch and little Sam sleeping soundly , I asked Luke to hold Andy until I put a blanket on my mum. I went to grab a blanket from the cupboard near the TV and laid it slowly on her carefully trying not to wake her up.. I gave a small peck on Sam's cheek and grabbed Andy and went upstairs with Luke following my trail. I laid Andy on his bed and he grabbed my sleeve.
“ Sing like papa.” he said slowly obviously he was half asleep but he was well aware of what was going on.
“ Sure bud.” I turned around to Luke and he nodded , and I breathed and slowly remembering his lullaby and sang softly

Andy fell asleep with tears falling down from his eyes I slowly moved backward to the door and shut it slowly.
“ Sky, it's okay.” Luke must have noticed I was shaking I turned around and ran into his chest crying like an idiot while he was holding me and tell me it's okay.
“ I-i'm so sorry I shouldn't cry , I- I have to be strong ….”
“ You don't have to be strong while you're with me , I'll protect you.”
He said with his beautiful voice and that made me burst into more tears, we stayed there for almost 10 minutes and I felt safe in his arms and didn't want to let go.
When I parked the car in front of his house we stayed silent for a while , then I leaned in and kissed his cheek.
“ Thanks Luke , it means a lot.” he looked a bit surprised but he smiled at me and hugged me.
“ Its ok it was a pleasure and please depend on me more.” he smiled at me and opened the door to leave but stopped in his track
“ Try to come tomorrow , it's gonna be fun.” he winked at me and left.
“ Idiot.” I said softly while I smiled and headed back home.
