This is going to be a short update. I am just going to copy and paste the character descriptions of the upcoming Wisemasters. I enjoy various cultures, ethnicities, religions, and customs in my fantasy and real life. I want to represent that with my characters and story, which is partly why I created the Wisemasters. At the end of the day, they are a way for me to explore all those interests in one central location, and the idea of gathering learned people from all over the known world is just really cool to me. There will be six in total however, as of now, I only have three. Once I am done creating them, I will start writing the next chapter that will be in the POV of one of these Wisemasters. I am not sure who I will pick, but I have someone already in mind. P.S. If the notes themselves seem like they are all over the place and rambling, it's because I just jot things down in the order they come to me. I am a very disorganized thinker. 210Please respect copyright.PENANA0OzQ2r3ff8

The Wisemasters
1. Komouna of Aü'munré - She is short, with large eyes, much larger than the average humans that glow in the dark like a cat. She has large ears that are slightly pointed and can rotate individually, a feature common in her people. The people of Aü'munré are nocturnal to avoid the large Anchiornis that roam the Island. During the day, she wears a veil connected to a tall headdress (in order to appear taller) with a single eye embroidered on the front and back. Komouna is a renowned astronomer. While the Star-singers might be able to garner the most accurate visions using their form of divination, the Aümunians and, by extension, Komouna has developed the tools and math necessary to track the celestial bodies and are able to predict their movement and behavior. Using this complex equation, they make reasonable assumptions about future events. Their equations tend to break down on an individual level as they believe that the bodies of the Aether are only responsible for the fate of man as a group and not individually. The Star-Singers disagree as they claim that Ramiel En Yosif’s sacrifice made it possible to discern an individual’s future by reincarnating as a new star and influencing all the other bodies to obey his new edict. She will bring with her a long Peering-Glass, Astrolabe, and journal. The Aümunians are considered the best at engineering both Peering-Glass, and Astrolabe, and Komouna will bring both as gifts for the Pieadrras. (Much like Mentats, The Astronomers of Aü'munré do a vast majority of these calculations with their mind, only using the astrolabes for demonstrations or educational purposes. They require the use of a drug called Vürtí, which is made from Tree roots and the ground-up powder of star rocks (Gems). This allows them to enter a trance-like state to do their calculations. Very little “Magic” is involved in the process, yet if it were to be classified, it would go as such (Recompense- Nature / Resolve- Mind/ Rendering -Instrument ) 210Please respect copyright.PENANALvjz4QysMG

2. Yubidah of Rothía - Appearance- Short, Wide of shoulder and hip. Muscular arms and legs. Dirty Blonde hair pulled back in a high ponytail, falcon feathers placed at the base. Amber eyes, white skin, full lips, and square jaw. Around her neck, she wears a braid of her and her riding horse's hair and falcon feathers pushed through at varying intervals. This is a spiritual ornamentation only worn by the rider. It serves as a connection between rider and horse. Carries around a Çifteli and has a pet falcon named Furko. Practices a very niche form of Divination, Wind-chasing. It is said that it can foretell the coming of wind storms, particularly massive Whirlwinds that tear through the Thunderflats of Rothia. It is said that it can also influence the whirlwind's path, so bands of Windchasers ride out toward the storm on horseback with their flacons and instruments, attempting to alter the storm's course and protect their tribes' folk. Because of this, Rothians do not believe in the deterministic principle. The future is a mess of hazy possibilities that, upon the time of their happening, only then collapse into one of those options depending on a series of complex happening that no man could ever truly understand. What you do in the present will shape the future, not the future shaping what you will do in the present. Because of this, Yubidah and most other Rothians do not agree with the traditional philosophy of Divination and, by extension, preordained Causality. The prerequisites for Wind-Chasing are as follows (Recompense- Nature / Resolve- Heart / Rendering - Singing and/or Instrument) 210Please respect copyright.PENANAmLYQLA2BXM

3. Quadean Abdol of Saumír - He is tall, heartily built, with a big bulbous nose, a mole on his cheek, brown skin, a long-kept beard, and a clean-shaven upper lip. Being a priest of the Orthodox Yosifien Order, his upper lip is tattooed using ash from the Birth-Tree. The tattoos branch upward, reaching the cheeks, the shape of which is dependent on the priest's preferred theological domain. Abdol is an Anointed Seer, blessed with visions from Yeud the Most High. Divination is a passive process that can only occur with consistent chanting prayers, the ingestion of Green-Flower, and opening up one's heart to Yeud’s and, by extension, Ramiel En Yosif’s divine embrace. As a Quadean, he is an Anointed Seer and a Holy Commander, granted the privilege of wearing a sword engraved with words from the pages of the Quadon Keíbbith, The Yosifien Holy Book. Though he is only allowed to draw his steel against the Maulkith (Demons) and those possessed by the Maulkith. His blade shall touch no human flesh, even under threat of bodily harm. He has a long report with Madalynn, as they have had some spirited theological debates about their shared religion. Abdol disagrees with using Star-singing, not denying its results but objecting to its potential downsides. He believes that Maulkiths’ can influence the visions and Madalynn, and, by extension, Cosmosists argue that the stars are the domain of Ramiel En Yosif and, therefore, have no place for the Maulkiths’ to hold sway. Despite their religious differences, they have a friendly- even flirtatious relationship and the man is fond of telling jokes and making people smile. His form of Divination is called “Hymns for the Minds Eye,” Its recompenses are as follows (Recompense- Nature / Resolve- Heart / Rendering - Singing) 210Please respect copyright.PENANAy1FWV1P1Kd
