This is my first ever original GL story. I'm a total newbie in GL genre, if any mistakes please pardon me.
Since this story is set on the background of my native country, India, and I have used several words of my native language so I'd request my lovely readers to refer to the footbotes that I'll be posting at the end of the chapters in order to understand the words properly. This is a short short story with only two chapters. Hope you'll like it.
Before we dive into the chapters, please be patient this old soul is yet to finish and I promise to make it brief!
Before India's Independence from the British rule, Indian society was an extremely conservative one. The girls were not provided with proper education, Indian women did not have property and inheritance rights. The only option for their survival was to get married and quite obviously the heteronormative society abhorred the idea of same gender romantic or sexual relationships.
Keeping these informations in mind, without further ado, I present you with my first chapter!
