Deep in the heart of the dense forest, a dilapidated cabin stood, its decaying structure a testament to its forgotten past. The locals believed in whispers that the cabin was cursed by an ancient evil. Doe, a young thrill-seeker with a penchant for the supernatural, couldn't resist the allure of the cabin's haunting reputation.
One autumn evening, Doe gathered the courage and headed to the cabin. The air was thick with an unsettling silence as he unlocked the creaking front door and stepped inside. The interior was shrouded in darkness, and was saved by the flickering of a lone candle on a dusty table.
He found a journal left by a previous occupant. The pages were yellowed with age and filled with cryptic entries detailing unexplained phenomena and a malevolent force, lurking within the walls. Ignoring the warning, curiosity pushed him further into the unknown.
Deep into the night, as the winds howled, Doe found himself drawn to a oddly placed door. He twisted the doorknob and was tempted even further by the sound of what seemed like a siren's call.257Please respect copyright.PENANA6YXyvro9P5
Doe's thirst for the truth became insatiable, and stepping inside, a chilling realization dawned on him. He was not alone. He began to hear the very whispers that he was warned about. His sane mind became distorted, as he watched as the shadows danced along the walls, defying the laws of nature.257Please respect copyright.PENANAygRvZPRWgx
The white, empty space, almost like an empty plane of existence, numbed him. It was a comfortable feeling, nostalgic even. Every step left behind a bloody footprint much smaller than his own.
"How odd." Doe muttered to himself. The chills hugging his body tightly kept coming and going, almost like it was trying to get his attention. His left ear, heard nothing but fluctuating static, while the other was the humming melody of the the dancing shadows, who wouldn't stop the mockery it was doing from a distance.
He didn't mind it, but rather hummed along. The footprints became puddles, and every step from that point on made him... more and more and more and more... anxious? The shadows were gone, and the white faded to gray.
"Evil, I sense no such thing." He was certain something was watching him, but its intentions weren't exactly malicious. That was when he stepped in it, a pile of corpses, the bodies of the shadows who hummed such a beautiful melody.
In the corner of his eye, he noticed color and it's shape was of somebody he once knew. Once noticed, the figure spoke in such a soft and playful voice...
"I missed you."
