Junghwa’s POV
“I don’t snack!”
I whined when my brother brings out a tray of snacks. “But from now on, you will.” He says and I can’t help pouting at the tray. “Whats wrong?” He asks. “Why must I snack?” I asked him. “To grow!” He explains.
“But I’m already going 20 soon.” I said. “Still plently of time to grow.” He says. “Come on” He pushes the tray nearer to me. I just end up taking the onion rings bag and try them.
“Yummy?” He asks me. I nodded my head eating the snack. “Good.” He smiles as this dreadful snacking experience continues for the night.
-The Next Day-
“The next time he gonna make me snack, imma make sure he is gonna set up a snack place, for him to work on.”
I tell Inhye and Bora during our break time about what happened last night
“Thats not a bad idea.” Inhye says. “Your brother will be surely a good husband material in the future.” Bora giggles.
“True.” I say. “Erm Jen, your French friend is back.” Bora then look elsewhere weirdly.
‘Wh-Pierre?’ I turned around and saw Pierre with a bouquet of my favorite pink roses. “Hi.” Pierre says, waving.
“Do you need anything Mr De Hunt?” Bora asks him. “Just the usual hazelnut latte and shrimp sandwich.” He says with a wide smile
“Have a seat though” He says. “Its okay. I have things to do.” I said. He nods and does so, I go and put the flowers in some water. I help Inhye with the latte as she makes the sandwich. “The sandwich is done.” Inhye gives me the sandwich.
“Cool.” I say as I finish making the latte. I took the order and give it to Pierre. “There you go Mr De Hunt” I formally addressed him as I gave him the order
“Thank you and you can call me Pierre.” He tells me. “I still will address you Mr De Hunt and you’re still Mr De Hunt to me.” I said to him
“Very well.” He says. Just as I was about to go and entertain another customer, I was stopped by him pulling my hand. “What are you doing Mr De Hunt?! P-People are gonna wag their tongues out if they see this!” I nervously looked at what is happening asking him.
“Don’t you know my feelings for you after all these while?” He says to me.
Chan’s POV
“Erm something is up?”
Felix points out to me when I looked up to a well-dressed man seems very insistent towards Jennifer
“Lets go check.” I tell him. We immediately headed in the cafe and pulled Jennifer away from him, but instead, an unexpected event happens instead:
Jennifer and I kissed on the lips. Once we pull away i see her face is red. “You’re here.” She softly says.
“I will take care of everything from here.” I smiled reassuring her. She nods and continues whatever she is doing.
“Who are you young chap in between my business?” The man asks me in English. ‘Doesnt sound like somebody from here’ I think to myself
“Do you have a issue with me being here?” I ask him. “Do you want to mess with the son of the FBI Chief?” He then walks up to me trying to go all tough.
“Do you want to mess with the leader of a Kpop group under the Big 3?” I asked him back the same thing before Jennifer comes out with a cup of water.
I backed off and the water was tossed on this FBI chief’s son. “Do you know to not go around threatening titles?” Jen asks him. “I can explain-” He wants to explain but Jennifer cuts him off, looking agitated.
“Inhye, pack Mr De Hunt’s food for him on a takeaway. Bora, call the security and escort him out NOW!” She tells her coworkers whilst looking at the guy mad before going into the kitchen and slammed the door
The two do as they are said. I was worried about Jennifer so I went to the kitchen myself, to find her having some kind of a panic attack, her whole body slanted on the chair she’s sitting on
“Are you okay?” I ask, i sit down next to her, rubbing her back. “A little. Just fed up.” She says struggling to breath a little.
“Focus on breathing.” I tell her as I continue rubbing her back. It took a while for her to get her breathing back to normal
“Do you need anything?” I ask her. “A drink” She says rubbing her hands against each other shivering
I get up and start it, “What type?” I ask. “Just some strawberry drink.” She says which I end up thought of strawberry milkshake.
I hand it to her and she starts drinking it. “Thank you” She softly yet calmly thanks me as she slowly drink up.
“No worries.” I just sit with her while she drank. As she drank, Bora and Inhye came back looking at us in shock
“Do you want to talk about it?” I ask Jen. “Its okay you two, he just here cause I had a panic attack.” She smiles to me softly before explaining to the both
She then looks at me. I nodded my head agreeing with her. “We will help you with the other order.” Inhye nods her head telling Jennifer.
“I’m sorry.” I apologise. “No I should be the one sorry” She reassures me. “No you shouldn’t” I say. “Who else you’re with? You surely didn’t come alone” She stands up slowly asking me
“Just myself and Felix.” I say. “Go help yourself and Felix to the seats. I will make some food for you both.” She tells me
“You need to rest.” i tell her. “I’m fine now. Thank you very much.” She tells me in a reassuring tone.
“Please.” i say. She finally gives in after a while nodding her head to get some rest.
I end up staying with her the whole time until the closing hour when her brother comes picking her up.
