The saiyan's expression grew cold as he raised his fists in preparation for battle. Goku shouted in anger and dashed at the saiyan to begin his assault. He transformed into his super saiyan blue form right as he lunged his fist towards his opponent. His punch connected with Kakarot's face but to Goku's surprise, he wasn't nearly as injured as he would have imagined. He looked at Kakarot, noticing he had tapped into his primal instinct before the attack landed. Kakarot grabbed Goku's forearm and violently smashed him against the ground. Goku ignored his pain and caught his opponent in a tight arm bar. He used this slight advantage to get a kick at Kakarot's face which knocked him a few steps back, giving Goku the chance to create a distance. He spread his arms in front of him and began to rapidly fire ki blasts from his hands like that of a turret. He ascended into the air as he continued to bombard his mighty foe with never ending blasts of life energy. After only minutes of taking the blasts head on, the ferocious saiyan began to evade them almost flawlessly. Goku looked in frustration, noticing his attacks were no longer even grazing the saiyan. Kakarot leaped through the blasts and went in for a punch. Goku with barely any time to react, immediately boosted himself with the kaioken and blocked the attack as best as he could but the force of the punch sent him crashing into a mountain, leaving a huge crater in the process. Kakarot levitated in front of Goku, watching the enraged warrior struggle to move.

Goku's frustration grew and his power bursted out even greater than before. The release of his ki alone shattered the mountain he laid on. He rushed Kakarot with a combination of multiple attacks which he avoided without much trouble but eventually was caught by a powerful uppercut which knocked blood out of his lips. Goku went in for a other punch but his fist was caught. He attempted the same with his other fist and was met with the same fate.

Goku's eyes lit up as his power rose once more. He broke free of Kakarot's grip and grabbed him from his face and flew all the way to the ground, slamming his head straight into the floor. He grabbed onto Kakarot's neck with one arm and charged a destructo-disk with the other, aiming it at his head. He left his arm in the air, fighting with his urge to finish off Kakarot. The intense look in his eyes suddenly faded as he snapped back into his senses. His attack slowly faded as he loosened his grip.
