TW: mention of kn!ves
I don’t know what I was expecting, really. Why would they put all the things to do in the campsite? No one would be able to get anywhere because of the tents and it would be easier for things to get lost or stolen.
Anyways, I’ve found the porta-loos and am currently regretting not bringing that bottle of hand sanitizer my mum told me to pack because even though we've only been here for a couple of hours, somebody has already ransacked the 'handwashing station' and there is now a massive puddle of slightly muddy hand sanitizer across the table dripping onto the floor.
To be honest I don't know why I didn't listen to my mum in the first place, she used to go to festivals all the time. She's a master at packing for these things.
This wouldn't be the first time I've been to a festival either but I don't think the first time should really count. It was when I was really little so I had to have ear defenders on the whole time. So much for influencing my brain with good music (it didn't matter I live for the music my mum listens to anyways). I can't remember anything that happened but my mum says she regrets ever taking a baby overnight at a festival in the first place.
I told Henry I was going to the loo's so it's probably better that I wait here incase he comes to find me when he's finished his phone call.
I bought some extra data so I would have enough to last the whole weekend. Any leftover is for placing online Starbucks orders for me to pick up on the way home from school. For now it's for scrolling through Pinterest while I wait.

I get so lost in the social media app that I don't notice the cute, brown eyed boy walking towards me. I jump when he taps me on the shoulder.
