My eyes opened then closed again. I was too tired. My whole body felt stiff and achy. My head banged and I couldn't wriggle my toes. My lids made an extra effort and raised. A white wall decorated with butterflies. Sunlight filtering through a large window. Papers and documents scattered over a desk with pencils and notebooks splayed across the floor. A red velvet carpet expanded through the room. This isn't my room. I shot awake, my eyes red. There was an oak door directly in front and it was closed. There was a peaceful normality about this bedroom. A sudden weight near my hip caused my eyes to flit downwards. In the creases of the duvet, I couldn't see my legs. I assumed it was a hangover and stared at the object. A suitcase. My things. My Level 7 keycard, phone, wallet, perfume and everything I owned. Those papers were mine. That carpet was mine. The books on that birch shelf were mine. But this was not my room. I scratched my head, rather confused. Suddenly, the door knob jiggled and a woman stepped in. She seemed extremely surprised to see me before smiling. 75Please respect copyright.PENANAT65K9lUUyA
"Cassie, my dear! I'm sure you're very upset right now. I'm Mrs White, Arya's mother. Please, call me Claire." That's where I knew her! I'd wondered if I known Mrs White-Claire- because she looked really quite familiar. 75Please respect copyright.PENANAqGPwdxZ2w0

"Darling, you only just woke up?!Cassie, the night you went partying. How much time do you think has passed?" burbled Claire. That is when I realised the surprise was blank shock.75Please respect copyright.PENANAYpjAsrRfSJ

"Cassia...you've been in a coma for 3 months. The teachers have vanished and CCA is nothing but ashes. There was a fire. You were badly burned. Arya is missing and also, congratulations. You have no legs."75Please respect copyright.PENANAdCbCSLQsJw
