In the silence of my soul, sadness resides as a silent witness, memories are like dark clouds obscuring the light of day, with one hand I reach for forgetfulness.
While with the other, I grapple with pain, each sigh bears the burden of emptiness, every thought is a dark song.
My heart is like a prisoner in the dungeon of its own emotions, lost in the labyrinth of sorrow, where there’s no way out or return, the light is far, like a fading star in the endless night.
And I am just a wanderer in the desert of my thoughts, lost and alone.
Memories of happiness are mere scenes of lost dreams, and the future is obscured, like the horizon in the mist of abyss.
Perhaps somewhere there is hope, but I don’t see it, for sadness has become my only companion, a faithful companion in the darkness.
And as tears glide down my cheeks like an endless river, I feel like sinking deeper, into the ocean of bottomless sorrow.
Maybe one day I’ll find a way out of this labyrinth, but until then, I remain trapped in my own grief, an unread verse in the book of life.
