"Y'know this is really unfair, right?" Iseul stands with her hip cocked accompanied by low lashes and irritated eyes. She is watching as the six hog the window checking on the state of the outside world.
"We don't care," Iyana chimes as the girls descend from the boys aching shoulders. A middle finger appears before Iyana's face as she swirls around. Her face sours as she remains unimpressed with her sister's antics. Both girls quickly bump shoulders as they lean against the maroon stalls.
Leaning against the brick wall, Mi-jin glances toward the group then glances toward Ha-ri, "Hey. What do you want to do?"
"We need to leave. No one's coming to save us," she grimly responds.
"No shit," Iseul mutters under her breath glancing at the ceiling.
"All the zombies will see us right now," Jun-seong whimpers as his eyes find everyone gathering to leave. "Let's go at night."
Iseul swings her body toward him, staring downward with a skewed face, "This has to be the hundredth time you've said that exact thing. If you're pussy, just say that please!"
"I'm not... It's just smarter that way!" He tries to defend his anxious self.
"Yeah, sure." Iseul rolls her eyes, "If it makes you feel better we can keep you in the middle to protect you." Her babying tone goes unnoticed as Jun-seong tightens his fist amongst her mocking.
"You two, stop it. Like fucking children." Iyana mutters with disappointment swimming through her pupils as she leans into her lover's embrace.
"Shut up, he's the one making all the fuss," Iseul responds plainly as Mi-jin clears her throat to stop the bickering so they can leave the miniature bathroom.
"Let's go out back and leave through the back gate. That's the fastest route," she suggests to the group.
"I'm going to the second floor first," Ha-ri states.
"Why?"
"My brother's a junior. I need to check if he's there."
The siblings share a glance as their minds connect to the same topic, the youngest amongst them.
She too would be on the second floor with her class. However, all that concerns them is finding her with a pulse.
Mi-jin's eyebrows furrow as her mouth moves to berate Ha-ri. "Hey. Would a zombie sit and wait at his desk in his classroom?"
As her head swivels, Iyana can sense her frustration through Ha-ri's words. "Did you see him turn?"
"He may have." Mi-jin tries to make her face their new apocalyptic reality. "There's no guarantee that he didn't."
"Why are you guys arguing? Just fight some more." Jun-seong needlessly opens his mouth, yet his regret is instant as all the women gaze uninterestedly upon him.
"Shut the fuck up." Iseul directs a scowl at him. "No one fucking asked."
"Sorry," he meekly whispers letting his head slouch as he grabs the makeshift spear.
"Ya, Ha-ri." Iyana requests her attention.
Ha-ri turns her downcast eyes toward the oldest sister. "What?"
"We're coming with you, we also need to check for someone."
Ha-ri offers a small noise as confirmation. "The rest of you, come with me if you want."
As the archers lead the way with Kyung-soo and Iyana close behind their trail, Mi-jin gazes at Ha-ri's fleeting figure. "She's so cool. Damn it."
Iseul wastes no time in serving Mi-jin a harsh glance. "Really, bitch?"
Mi-jin scoffs as she approaches the girl, her hands reaching for her clothes waist to brush it softly.
"It's not like that," Mi-jin delivers softly as she pulls her along.
"Sure," Iseul rolls her eyes as she plays along, biting back the growing smile.

The cautious collective makes their way through the eerily empty halls, each one of them tightening their grip on their choice of weapon.
The hazy sunlight spotlights their tiring spirits, hanging on as if on autopilot mode.
Yet, one seems to be keeping their head up as she releases a mild scoff, "Well I guess Jun-seong was worried for nothing, huh?"
The sudden patter against the floor begs to prove her wrong as they rush forward ready to devour their heartbeats. They all throw her a shady glance before strengthening their defenses as the creatures rush with bloody, infectious mouths.
Screetches run amock as the zombies fall one by one, arrows wedge themselves in their mutated bodies. Other zombies are being roughly skewered by the handmade weapons of the freaked-out students.
"Nice one, Ise!" Iyana screams with frustration running through her loud vocals.
All she can do is grunt as a mindless zombie dashes for her and the sharpened handheld weapon.
Time passes as their heaving breaths grow and the number of monsters lessens.
"Shit," Mi-jin tiredly sighs as she watches her ex-girlfriend wipe the anxious beads from her forehead.
"I already checked the classrooms, so let's head downstairs," Ha-ri orders as both sister's eyebrows furrow.
"Well, let us check too. We didn't tag along for no reason," Iyana scoffs as she runs over to the crowded windows. Iseul jumps to her feet helping to inspect as well.
Both their eyes peer into the class windows hoping to find a familiar face. Preferably left the way they last saw her, but no such luck is bestowed upon them.
Iseul and Iyana lock eyes hoping for positive news from the other.
Both girls sigh as they grasp their weapons joining the others realizing they'll have to play the waiting game. Mi-jin joins Iseul's side gauging her sullen bloodied face as her heart stings for her.
Her slender fingers find her trembling hand locking them together firmly.
"You'll be okay," she whispers as silently as their echoing footsteps.80Please respect copyright.PENANAB1HHIcgAYC
