Why do you have to drive me away? Luang Pu. ow come i can't know it too? Because i'm the one who brought Phaya here. Tarn thought while eavesdropping on the wooden door with a little frown on his face as he couldn't hear the muffled voice inside clearly. When the door flapped open , Tarn almost nose dived onto the ground. Luckily he still managed to keep his balance. Tarn faced up and quirked a smile at Phaya.
"You finished talking?"
Tarn asked with a feeble voice. He was quite embarrassed to be cuaght in the act by the person inside. Phaya cast a reproaching glance at Tarn , but still stepped aside for the other to let Tarn in , nevertheless
"Tarn come in." Luang Pu called on him. Tarn hurriedly walked in and sat down379Please respect copyright.PENANA6XPRtmNIn3

"When you go back to work this time , be mindful..."
Luang Pu's voice remained a sense of tranquility Tarn pursed his lips and listened carefully
"...Don't get carried away by self indulgence until you lost touch with mindfulness."
Tarn's face grew droopy , hands folded in respect while cocking an ear
"Yes , i'll keep that in mind."
Luang Pu locked the gaze on his little pixie , knowing all to well how quietly head strong his naughty pupil was. Regardless of how intense his solicitude was , he could only offer a helping hand to the best of his ability. Luang Pu twirled around to pick something from the monk's sack. Then he handed clean , yellowish money porches to Tarn and Phaya each
"Please mark my words Only your mindfulness and wisdom will set you free from the karmic tapestry. Keep doing good deeds to keep earning merit." Luang Pu paused before shifting his glance to Phaya "...Use your good deeds as you defense , and everything will fall into place at the end."
Phaya held still in the deep thought of Luang Pu's teaching. It means that Luang Pu had already resolved all his former doubts.
"Yes. Please don't worry , Luang Pu. Tarn will never perform mis deeds."
Luang Pu landed his eyes on Tarn before gradually shutting those eyes down and resuming his meditation state. Tarn and Phaya exchanged their gaze , nodded to each other , paid homage , and left by the monk's cell door. Behind the backs of two young police officers appeared a luminous , golden hued figure at the front door. The man grand and tall , had a complexion a kin to harvested hay was adorned in golden ornaments studded with red blooded gem stones. He stood still , radiating a furious glow as he fixated on the antique wooden door until it flung open , revealing a holy man inside who was immersing in the depths of meditation
"Pleased don't interfere with matters that aren't yours'
That low pitch , stern , and imperious voice roared. Those blood shot eyes gleamed with rage. The ascetic figure responded with a serene tone
"I just did it out of a duty bound sense i deem necessary.'379Please respect copyright.PENANAsFp8ngt7qU
'Duty? Or do you actually want to intrude? Without you , he would have returned to abide with me in days of yore...'
Both hands clenched when evoking the spirit repossession ritual in earlier times. He was close to accomplishing it. Until the arrival of the venerable monk's obstruction , that task had fallen unfeasible.
'This is what fate decreed. Should you no longer defy it'
The ascetic man said to convince him
'Fate? Ridiculous. What type of fate? What has fated him to suffer for centuries of years...Despite his exceeding benevolent acts? In fact , he shouldn't even have been reborn in this life.'379Please respect copyright.PENANAF6xeXlGe7E
"You are already well aware that it is from his own discretion. Thus you still want to be his stymier?'379Please respect copyright.PENANAo2O6wRnN0z
'I... Have tolerated this far too long...and my patience has reached its end...'
Those fists clenched so tightly that his veins stood out as he growled in a menacing tone
'If you insist on continuing this trespass , i may leave with no choice but to demise you. And if that day comes , you won't be able to claim that you weren't fore warned.'
For thousands of years that he'd been a scenticized , exterminating the reverend monk's life in front of him was as easy as a finger snap. The lofty man flashed a derisive smile , lashed hsi sight to the old , wooden door to slam shut and disappeared as if no one had ever been there
After meeting up with Luang Pu , Phaya fell in silence all the way back. Tarn , who took charge of a chauffeur , kept stealing his glance to Phaya from time to time , brooding of Luang Pu would have remarked something that made Phaya persist in his troubled expression. Once , Tarn glimpsed at the fuel gauge , showing the gas was running empty. His eyes then stumbled on the gas station sign that it was five hundred meters away. He put the blinker on
"Phaya , what time is it now?" Tarn asked while turning the steering wheel and entering the gas station379Please respect copyright.PENANAKrEzLA0O5w
"...." The answer held its tongue
Tarn frowned and turned to the mind drifter. He stretched out to poke.
"Phaya...Phaya...Phaya!"379Please respect copyright.PENANAO74ReLjpBv
"Huh?" Phaya flinched. He looked at Tarn puzzlingly.379Please respect copyright.PENANAmNbGuF7bIm
"I asked you what time it is. What's wrong with you? You've been spaced out for like ages already."
Tarn asked with worry , but phaya wavered his head , peeking at the watch on his wrist and telling it to the drive
"Twelve thirty...."
Tarn nodded , feeling somewhat disappointed that Phaya didn't share what was on his mind
"Good... So we'll stop by and have lunch here."
Tarn pulled over. He lowered the car window , asked a gay jocke to fuel up and then handed a thousand baht bank note in his pocket for the service
"I'll pay it back to you."379Please respect copyright.PENANAPkA6giDe9Z
"No no ned. You gave me a lift , so this expense should be on me." Said Tarn quirking his brow at Phaya
Phaya chuckled in the throat , thinking that the swaggy demeanor of the other person should have been dropped on girls more than him. Tarn parked in front of a convenience store and turned off the car engine. He released the seatbelt and hopped out of the car together with Phaya. After seeing Phaya close the door , Tarn pressed the remote to lock their vehicle.
They both ordered some simple rice and curry and had it together at the same table. A moment later , Tarn raised the question
"What did Luang PU say to you? You've been zoned out all the way since you've left the temple. Did he mention anything bad?"
Gulping lunch down his throat , Phaya answered
"Some kind of a double side coin answered."
He replied in a lukewarm manner , but Tar could read that Phaya was having a cluttered mind
"Let me know if there's anything i can help." I'm all set!
Phaya looked at Tarn with gratitude
"Thank you."379Please respect copyright.PENANAGFa3MeYNwd
"No sweat. Just pay my wage." Tarn said playfully.379Please respect copyright.PENANAg4vnMgpBHe
"That mentioned wage can't be a booze treat. I'm enough."
Tarn twisted his mouth.
"I've already said i'm sorry. What's the point of bringing it up again?"
He got drunk and always behaved like that. What was he supposed to do? Plus , when he woke up the next morning , everything slipped out of his mind.
Phaya laughed and shook his head in disdain . Couldn't believe that a zonker like Tarn truly existed.
As two men were teasing each other , and old lady walked up to them at the table. She asked a question in a hoarse voice that one couldn't help but have a heart
