Pov: Leon (third person)
"N-No," Leon stutters. "We need to get to school," Jax says, knowing that he is lying. That's when Leon looks down at his phone and sees that it is already 7:53, and they need to be at school by 8:00. Leon quickly grabs Jax's hand, causing Jax to blush bright red, and then he starts running as fast as he can. They only just make it on time. "What's your first class? I can help you find it," Leon asked Jax. "Math," he responds.
Pov: Jax (third person)
"My first class is Math, and I know where it is," Jax says as he walks away. The school was the place where he died, even though he never attended it, he knew the place pretty well. Jax walks past the bathroom where he died, and then he suddenly can't breathe. He clenches his fists, unable to move. Then someone yells from afar, "Hey kid, don't you have somewhere to be?!" That's when he snaps out of it and walks past the bathroom feeling a pain in his chest, remembering what had happened to him three years ago, on his birthday. No one knew it was his birthday, not even the teachers, so he didn't receive a single birthday wish. Later in art class, he had to use the restroom. Not wanting to be late, he took a deep breath and walked into the bathroom. That's when he got a flashback from what happened that day.
(Note from the author: Hi, I wanted to explain why nobody knew Jax after he died. When Jax died and came back as a ghost, everyone who wasn't his family forgot who he was. So, nobody knew that he was ever a person. When he came back as a ghost, he could live normally without anyone asking about his death. I hope this explanation clears things up. I apologize if it doesn't make sense, but I tried my best.)
