I enter the school building, nervous to even be inside. The school was named Adventure Bay Pup School. A school for pups like me to find their purpose. I wore my brown adventure vest with my brown cowboy hat that Jason made for me to wear to school. I wore my tan satchel bag on my side. Seeing I was brave and adventurous, reminded him of Indiana Jones and that was the look he was going for. I went into the newspaper class for the first time and I noticed everyone was gathering supplies and getting to work. I met up with Skye who was getting ready to teach the class about writing a good story. I saw a note on the board for applications for the paper. I looked and saw they needed someone to write adventure stories for the paper. I grab an application with my mouth take it back to an empty seat and begin to fill it out. Not long after finishing, My name was called by Skye. I gaze up at her after finishing my application. She looks at me.

“Would you like to come up in front of the class and introduce yourself? I can take that application off of your paws.” She said. I rose from my chair and nervously made my way to the classroom whiteboard covered in today’s instruction. I slowly turned around, nervous as to why everyone was looking at me. I swallowed hard because I wasn’t one for talking to large crowds, let alone an entire classroom with twenty-four pups. “M-my name is B-Bucky.” I nervously introduced myself. I told everyone where I was from and about the move from the family farm. “That’s so interesting to hear!” Skye responded. The class clapped and all wanted to meet up with me during lunch so I wasn’t lonely. Wow! Freinds?! On my first day? I was thrown off by the kindness of the other pups. Skye later handed me back my application with an accepted green colored stamp on the paper. I did it! I found my purpose in school and made some really nice friends! I was so excited! I knew that this was the place where I was going to fit in and do something meaningful. I was ready to take on the rest of the school year.
