There she is,

The most beautiful thing I know.

Standing there in the doorway.

Never inviting me in,

But simply leaving it open for when I am ready.

Many hate her,

Many want more than her,

But I could never insult the love of my life,

By ever wanting or expecting more than her.

For who could wish for love?

Who would subject themselves to

Losing their mind at any given time?

Who would give their heart ti someone

With a greedy already outstretched hand?

Why not give it to my love?

The one I am so utterly obsessed with.

My Love, Tolerance.

For her hand is never already outstretched,

She waits patiently,

She watches and learns the heart held out to her.

Waiting to choose the best one for her.

Choosing only the best of the best.

My love, Tolerance, will always have my heart as a choice.
