"Alright class, put your belongings, save for a writing utensil, away. It is time for the exam."
As Professor Andrew Harris, AKA the most boring professor one can ever have, droned on about the exam rules, Billy's mind wandered. His eyes landed on the brunette seated at the opposite end of the room. Surely his eyes hadn't played tricks on him when he had seen her and her Asian friend converse with one of Haddonfield's most iconic citizens. Perhaps she could be the key to ending the Boogeyman's reign of terror on this quiet suburban town. Perhaps he'd have a word with her after class.
"Mr.Loomis, that goes for you specifically."
Billy glanced up looking startled. "Oh, apologies. I was distracted for a bit."
Half the class erupted into fits of giggles. From the corner of his hazel eyes, the Englishman noticed the brunette shoot him a concerned glance as he cleared his desk.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Loomis. Now we can commence. You may begin once you receive your exam."

Later on during the day, Billy made his way to Johnny's, a diner not far from campus and took a seat on one of the stools. Glancing around, the Brit noted that the place was going for the traditional fifties look with the red-colored stools and the stark white counters and walls with some black dotted in here and there. Billy had to admit, they had done a pretty good job on it, though he seen better places that captured the 50s atmosphere better.
I'm sure my father was a regular here. Perhaps he thought it reminded him of his prime or something.
As Billy took his pumpkin-flavored cocoa and seated himself on the red cushioned seat, he never knew such a thing existed here until he spent his first night in Haddonfield. From then, that drink was his go to during his visits after class. As he took a sip, his thoughts reflected back to earlier in the day.
I guess I didn't finish my exam quickly enough to intercept the girl with the cobalt-colored eyes. Perhaps I'll see her around sometime. Maybe then I could gather the information I need. Or I could find the dark-haired lass that was her acquaintance myself and once I confirm who I think she is, then I can proceed with why I am here in the first place.
"Hey bro, don't I have you in Harris's class?"
Taken out of the workings of his mind, Billy Loomis turned and gazed over at Kevin Simpson, his classmate for Psychology.
"Oi! I think I do. You are on the track team, aren't you?"
"Yeah," the athlete with the dark complexion responded. He took a seat on the stool beside Billy, setting his chocolate milkshake in front of himself. "I am here on a track scholarship, but don't get me wrong. I study hard to attain good grades to show others that I am just as capable of attaining A's as they are. Just because I'm a jock doesn't mean I am not capable of getting A's."
"Really now?" Billy shook his head. "Blanket statements are a pain in the arse. I mean, just because I am from the United Kingdom doesn't mean I have to drink tea. I can't stand the bloody stuff."
"Funny how you complain about being generalized yet you speak like a stereotypical Englishman. "
Both boys chuckled.
"Yeah, I get you, but this is how I am. I'm William T. Loomis. Just call me Billy, it is much more interesting."
"Yeah, will do."Kevin took a sip of his drink, glancing around the diner. The setting Autumn sun filtering in through the window gave the place a somewhat gold hue. "I intend to become a marriage therapist after I finish school. I want to transfer to either Stanford or Duke to finish my studies there. You ask me why a marriage therapist as opposed to something cooler like a criminal profiler or a psychiatrist, I'll say why. It irks me everytime my folks get into spats over minor issues like why the bacon is too crisp or why doesn't Jackson have matching socks? I mean, it is ridiculous! Yeah, go ahead and laugh, I know you want to."
Billy couldn't help but smile. "Nah, I'll pass."
"If you say so." Kevin suppressed a smirk. "So what is your goal?"
"Immediate or life?"
"Both," the athlete responded as he took a long sip of his shake. "Take your time,I got all day. Well, not really."
Billy shook his head and smirked."I got you. My endgame for the future is to be a psychiatrist at a loony bin like my father ."
His new friend sat up straight. "Hold up, you are saying that THE Dr.Loomis is your pops? No friggin way."
"Actually, it is true." Billy showed him his UK drivers license. "He is the immediate reason I'm present in this town that is considered off the grid and insignificant. I need to get down to the bottom of what happened to him."
"Insignificant?" Kevin furrowed his brows."Nah, you ever heard of the Halloween murders?"
"Indeed, which is what draws me here in the first place." Billy sighed and leaned back. " Despite what people had initially believed, Michael still lives."
"You serious?" The athlete glanced over at Billy as if he had morphed into a Lycanthrope. "We all know he died in that fire years ago. Your pops was hailed as a hero."
"That is not what he had explained to me when we last spoke. He seemed a bit doubtful as to the Boogeyman's demise. After that, I ceased to hear from him for about a year. I know he didn't want me involved in his work, but it is something I owe him despite not seeing him for ages."
Kevin was silent for a bit, scrunching up his lips for a bit. It looked like he was going to respond, but then his eyes went toward the entrance of the diner. "Hey look, there's Jenny, Amy, and Elle!"
Billy whirled around to see the brunette from his Psychology class, her friend, and a blonde woman dressed in the black and orange Haddonfield College cheerleader outfit arrive. Perhaps he can bring up the subject about her other friend, the dark-haired beauty, when the time was ripe.

Great, now four more are involved. I thought I'd only have to keep tabs on the fool, but it looks like four more fools need to be attended to lest they prove problematic. I don't want to take anymore risks.
The cult member kept his gaze downward to avoid drawing any attention to himself as he prepared his camera. Seated at one of the lone tables by the window, he trained the device on his five targets and flashed it. He then glanced outward toward the Cadillac parked across the street where his underlings occupied the vehicle. In about a month, it would all go down without a hitch, he could assure himself that much. Once Loomis and his abominable offspring were dealt with, then their subject had free reign over Haddonfield. The odds were already in their favor.
