She was a lioness, on the plains of African, the mother of three young cubs who needed food. He was an orphan gazelle, her mother taken down by the very lioness who now hunted him. They were suppose to be natural enemies, yet the lioness took pity on the young gazelle. She imagined what it would be like for her cubs had they lost her, and she knew that for the time being she would have to look out for the young gazelle. So now, while her young cubs and herself still eat gazelle, they never touch the orphan one that the lioness took pity on. Some days you could even find her standing over the young gazelle, protecting him from the other lions who wished to make them his next meal. The cubs developed a friendship with the gazelle, running around him, occasionally nipping at him, but never enough to hurt, and things stayed that way until one day the gazelle moved on.669Please respect copyright.PENANA61NLhMgMjU
