The wind softly ruffles her hair. Her hair, the color of milk chocolate with natural butterscotch highlights, lightly swayed with the warm air. The waft of salt and fish was carried through the air and blew against her with a calming harshness.802Please respect copyright.PENANA5oBoPGlVKm
The setting sun hits her at a perfect angle, making it easy to distinguish all of her features. Anyone whom had ever seen her would be able to recognize her from only a glance as she is unforgettable. Her defined nose has a slight curve to it and her stormy grey almond shaped eyes had a haunting appearance. Her thick eyebrows and full lips makes her seem as if she was a model straight from a magazine. Of course, you can't miss her deep dimples that make her look youthful and gorgeous.802Please respect copyright.PENANAISB4wcF39i
Her lips were set in a thin line and her eyes closed. Her arms rose up at her sides and she waited for the spray of cool water to wash over her. Her toes curl into the wet sand and the water laps at her ankles, continuously retreating and coming back as if trying to reach out and grab her. She leans forward on the balls of her feet, preparing to be pushed back by the wave.
The water smashed against her, dragging her with it towards the deeper part of the ocean on the other side of the reef she is currently anchored on. She is swept away and pushed under the surf. The cold water shocks her out of her clouded state of mind, but she doesn't surface. She lets herself sink to the bottom until her toes touch the sand. The various sizes of shells scrape the skin on her feet, but at the moment she doesn't care. All that matters is that the sound of waves crashing against the sandbar drowns out all of the voices in her head.

They all rush out of her and float away like air bubbles rushing to the surface ready to be freed of the liquid that surrounds it. She doesn't swim towards the surface until her lungs are burning and tight.802Please respect copyright.PENANA8ojh7cw2Od
Hair, now a few shades darker in the water, is matted to her head and runaway strands sticks to her face and neck like little snakes clinging to it's prey. Her clothes-the ones she hadn't bothered changing out of-flatten onto her like a new layer of skin. Her shoes had been long ago abandoned at the house for she never liked the idea of having to cover her feet.
Grace only owned one pair of shoes, for why should she need another? Not wearing shoes was just another trait in a long list of things that set her apart from others. Grace preferred to wear only bohemian and vintage styled clothing. Unique patterns and pairing of tops and bottoms. While most students at Byreema High School were seen wearing whatever kind of clothes were considered 'in', Grace walked through the halls with swirls and curls printed all over her dresses and such. Dresses were the go-to option for Grace because they're loose and easy to move around in. Grace was also one of the only students seen carrying stacks of fantasy books from class to class and wherever else she might go.802Please respect copyright.PENANAwzbCoJCvAW
Nobody could ever tell what Grace is about to do. She would walk straight into the ocean no matter what she was wearing and could just swim around for hours. She'd jump off a cliff just because someone told her she wouldn't. Crazy and unexpected Grace didn't like to be told what she would and wouldn't do. If you say she won't do something, you might as well have put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her if she didn't.802Please respect copyright.PENANAUU7mxeTDFx
At first glance, Grace looks like a young naive girl who just stares and stares at everything with her stormy grey eyes, but there is so much more than meets the eye. Grace Serenity has always been-and always will be-totally unexpected.
