Storyline: A Unicorn turned Earth pony tried to revive his mother who passed away from a broken heart after her stallion left, never returning. There were 3 siblings, 2 colts and 1 filly. The eldest colt had found some old books their father had kept on ancient forms of magic. The Unicorn trio decided to try it so they could try and do better to help their mother and her broken heart. The eldest tried to end the spell but this resulted in his hearing the bloody screams for help from his two younger siblings. He lost his left foreleg and when he tried begging Celestia or any Gods that would listen for his siblings to be given back, he tried the spell again. His horn was then lost. He was found by a neighbor who had heard the screams and managed to bust the door down. The Pegasus got the badly injured Unicorn to the nearest hospital. After much rehab and learning a new method for using his magic through his hooves, and an enchanted necklace to allow for simple things such as levitation, he was given a titanium leg and allowed to leave. He went to research the books of old from Clover the Clever's sacred library only to see a spot of books missing. He would leave there and travel, discovering one of the missing books on his quest to find a stable spell to go back in time and prevent their foolish ideal of raising the dead.
