Star looked over to see the mantecore recovering and getting to its feet. He looked at the ground before twisting his metal hoof into the soft surface. He narrowed his eyes as he focused. A wind began to swirl up around his hoof, blowing his mane around and the necklace some against his chest. He pushed his hoof into the floor just as the mantecore jumped to pounce, resulting in metal poles to shoot up in a burst of crackling magic. The beast hit these metal creations and tried to back up but was surrounded and soon trapped inside a cage.
