“Are you sure about this Alex?” Arty asked as he gently grasped my hands in his. “Edensville is three hours away from the capital by plane. If something happens to you then I won’t-”
“I’ll be fine,” I reassured him. “Besides, someone has to be there to take part in the annual Edensville Christmas Float. I’ll be getting my break and fulfilling my royal duties,”
Arty raised an eyebrow sceptically. “You, fulfilling royal duties? Ha! Don’t make me laugh! This is probably the first royal duty that you’re doing on you’re own will,”
“Well there is a first for everything I guess,” We both chuckled.

“Arty I’ll be fine,” I rolled my eyes. “Crimson will be there anyway,”
“Just promise me that you’ll stay safe Alex,” He stared into my eyes.
“I promise,” I engulfed him in a tight hug. “Promise me that you’ll stay safe,”
“Don’t I always,” He said half-halfheartedly. “I’ll be fine,”

“ALEX YOU BITCH!” A loud shriek interrupted me from my conversation. I was ready to crucify whoever had the audacity to exclaim that in front of my damn face. But when I turned around to see Pinky standing there in her pajamas with her fists clenched and her neck length hair sticking up all over the place, I could barely contain my giggles.
“What the hell!” I laughed at her. “Do you know how ridiculous you look?”
“HOW COULD YOU!” She screamed. “I THOUGH WE WERE BEST FRIENDS!”
“What are you talking about?” I asked genuinely confused. “And stop shouting for God’s sake it’s seven in the morning! What the hell are you even doing here? How did you get past security?”
“Crimson let me up,” She said through gritted teeth as she stalked closer to me. “He also mentioned that fact that you are flying to Edensville in the next two hours!”
“Yep,” I confirmed. But that was not the answer she wanted to hear because she scoffed and pushed my shoulder harshly.

I rubbed behind my neck sheepishly as I meekly glanced up at her. “Uh-sorry-I guess?”
“You guess,” She mocked again.
“I forgot to tell you and I’m sorry. I’m still new to this best friend thing you know,”
“That’s not an excuse,” She crossed her arms tightly. “With everything that’s been going on, I would’ve immediately thought the worst if I spontaneously decided to visit you and you were no where to be found,”
“I’m sorry ok,” I huffed, getting a bit frustrated. “I just needed a break from everything,”

I didn’t know how to respond because I sure as hell wasn’t fucking apologizing again. “And you’re going to my hometown! Is it your first time,”
“Yeah,” I mumbled folding my arms. “I’m going to attend the Christmas Float,”

“Oh Ha Ha,” I said sarcastically as I grabbed my suitcase. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get to the airport before I miss my flight,”
“You technically can’t miss your flight because the plane won’t take off without you on it,” Arty said leaning down to my ear.
“I STILL NEED TO GET TO THE AIRPORT SO BYE!” I shouted annoyed as I grabbed my suitcase and stalked out of my room. Geez, I just feel so irritated at everything!
“I LOVE YOU TOO!” He shouted back at me.
“I forgot to tell you that I’m going to Edensville as well,” Pinky chirped as she walked side by side with me.
What, is she serious? Don’t get me wrong, she is my friend and I do occasionally enjoy her company but, I wanted some alone time with Crimson without anyone around to disturb us.
“No worries though,” She patted my shoulder. “I’m going closer to Christmas so that I can spend it with my family. So I won’t be there to disrupt you and lover boy from making my God-children!”806Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡuJSZekNaId
I nearly broke my neck as I whipped around to stare her in shock. “God-what? Hell no! It isn’t that kind of party!”
“I don’t care what kind of party it is, I want to come,”

“What’s got her panties in a twist?” I heard him not so subtly whisper to Pinky.
“I think it’s PMS,” She whispered back.
Those fuckers...
“I’M RIGHT HERE YOU KNOW!” I screamed.
“Babe I think you need to calm down and-” Crimson said coming closer to me but I glared at him.
“You know what I think ‘babe’,” I spat. “I think that you need to get the fuck over here and take me to the God damn airport so that I can get the hell out of this shitty palace!”
“Chill Alex what’s your problem?” Pinky asked.
What the hell is my problem? I’m not mad at them per say, I just feel irritated with life! I just want to get out of here. “Look I’m sorry ok, but I really want to get out of here. I’ll see you when I get back!” I quickly gave her a one armed hugged before I grabbed Crimson’s shirt. “Come on,”
Crimson surprisingly didn’t comment about on my behavior! At least not until where were inside a big black Jeep and he was speeding down the highway to the airport. He turned down the radio and quickly sneaked a glance at me. “Alright Curly, what’s wrong with you?”
“What do you mean?” I grumbled into my hand as I stared at the blurring green trees.
“You know exactly what I mean,” He said. “You’ve been really snappy and grouchy today,”
“Who the hell are you, my father?” I scoffed sarcastically.
Instead of getting mad, me gently grabbed my free hand and brought it up to his lips for a quick kiss. “No, I’m yours,” He charmed. “You’re the one who told me that I’m yours and you’re mine, and I always want to know what’s going on with anything that belongs to me,”
Why does he have to be so romantic when I want to stay irritated at life!
“It’s nothing,” I sighed. “I just really wanted to get away from there. I felt that if I stayed there any longer, something bad would happen and then we wouldn’t be able to go on our trip,”806Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ1MQPlJ6Yzj
“Something bad?” He questioned.
“I mean like, what if another terrorists attack happened? Or that dumbass Raven tried to start some crazy shit again!” I said. “I would’ve gone full blown bitch ass crazy if something like that happened!”
He laughed heartily. “Full blown bitch ass crazy? That sounds like the beginning for a world war! I do not want to see you become that, you might destroy us all!”
That managed to put a small smile on my face and Crimson grinned from ear to ear when he saw it. “I made you smile,”
“Yeah, so what?”
“I deserve some award don’t you think?” He said lowly as his hand rested on my thigh, slowly trailing higher and higher, but I stopped him as I felt his warm fingers brush against my inner thighs.
“The only award you’re going to get is me punching you in the face if you don’t stop with your perverted nature!” I seethed as I flung his hand away from me.
“PMS, definitely PMS,” He mumbled to himself.

“Where the hell are we?” I asked Crimson as I glared at him.
We’d arrived in Edensville after a long as hell three hour flight. But on the bright side, I was on a private jet and I slept in a beautifully furbished bedroom the entire trip. Now, Crimson is supposed to be taking me to the hotel that we’re staying at, but instead, we’re driving through some dump!
“It looks like I’m in some fucking trailer dump! Are those stray dogs? Why the hell are they strolling around together as if this is the damn jungle book? And why the fuck-”806Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡslEJgLZibq
“This is my home neighborhood,” Crimson sighed. I could see the clear embarrassment on his face. Ah shit.
“Oh!” I said in a high pitched tone. “Well then...that...certainly changes my outlook on it! You know, if you squint, it looks...adequate,”
“I know it’s shit compared to where you’ve grown up,” He said tightening his grip on the wheel. “But it’s my home, and I love it just as much as you love your fancy castle,”
“Firstly, it’s a palace not a castle,” I pointed out. “And secondly, I do not love it, in fact, I hate it there! But since I’ve lived lavishly all my life, coming to a place like this is a big change for me,”
“It’s not that bad once you get used to it!” He said. “I think you’ll like it here,”
“What do you mean you think I’ll like it?” I raised an eyebrow. “Wait hold the hell up, you don’t mean to tell me that this is where we’re staying?”806Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡnWS7RrIaUA
“You’re absolutely correct babe,”
My face unconsciously twisted into one of disgust and horror. “Hell to the flippin’ no!” I shrieked. “Have you lost you’re damn mind Crimson? I understand that this is where you’re from and all that pointless jazz but, I’m a princess in case you’ve forgotten! I cannot stay in such a derogatory place! Does this place even have the proper sanitation facilities? Like, you know, hot water, fucking running water? There are stray animals that are probably infected with rabies just strolling around the place! Like, that is so unsanitary! And do not get me started about these houses? These one story shacks that are probably made of fucking cardboard look like they’ll blow down by the gentlest winds! How the fuck can you expect me to stay in a disgusting place like this? Are you trying to punish me or something?”
Crimson’s face remained stoic as his gripped the steering wheel even tighter. No sign of his usual playfulness was on his face.
“You know what Alexandra,” He said glaring so intensely at me that I actually flinched a bit. “You’re a real fucking bitch!” He spat.
“Excuse me you jackass but-” I started to retort but he cut me off.
“SHUT UP!” He shouted. “FOR ONCE JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO YOURSELF!”
My eyes widened as I took in his harsh shouting. Damn, maybe I took it a bit too far this time.
“I’m taking you to my home, my fucking home Alexandra, the place where I grew up and you have the nerve to sit and complain and trash talk it like I’m not even here! I love this place! I’ll always love it! No matter what anyone thinks of it, especially shallow bitches like you!” He spat.
“Crimson I-”
“No,” He glared. “You’re always telling me about how your parents are always bitching and they’re so cruel and they’re so shallow, but news flash ‘princess’, you’re just like them!” He seethed. “And that’s probably why, out of all your siblings, you’re the one who’s always fighting with them, because you’re just alike!”
My face morphed into horror as he compared me to those monsters. “No! I’m nothing like them! I’m-”
“Yes you are,” He said in a hard tone before sighing deeply. “You know, when I first met you, I only wanted to sleep with you, that’s why I was always teasing you and touching you,”806Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡOlEv8YFBcv

“But then, that night when I first sneaked into your bedroom and we lied in bed and talked. It was the first time that I’d actually been able to have a civilized conversation with you and I fell for you so hard and fast. Tears were now falling from my eyes as I listened to him pour his heart out. He pulled up on a driveway of my small pale yellow home and turned the ignition off before turning to me.
“I fell for the girl who blushes when I act like a pervert. I fell for the girl who always stands up for others who can’t stand up for themselves. I fell for the girl that doesn’t do her math homework but yet, is a fucking genius! I fell for the girl who risked her sanity for the sake of keeping a life-changing secret for someone she truly cares about. I fell for a curly haired beauty with enchanting blue eyes and a gorgeous smile,” He said as he caressed my cheek with his hand.
“Crimson, I-I, I’m so sorry,” I sobbed as I leaned into his hand. “I’m so sorry,”
He released my seat belt and pulled me into his arms as I sobbed on his shirt. “I didn’t fall for this shallow, bitchy version of you. This fake version of you, because I know that that’s not who you truly are. You’re more than that Alex, so much more,”
He wrapped his arms tighter around me as I sobbed even harder. Oh God I feel like a terrible person! But I’m just so used to being a bitch to anyone I want, it’s hard to let go of a life-long habit! But then again, Crimson’s not just anyone, he’s mine.
“I’m sorry for shouting at you and calling you a bitch,” He mumbled against my head.
“No,” I wiped my eyes. “I needed to hear it. Thank you for doing it,”
“I would say anytime, but I don’t really want to be shouting at you,” He chuckled relieving a bit of the tension in the air.
“Only when I get out of hand,” I gripped his shirt as I listened to his steady heartbeat. “Where are we by the way? You just randomly pulled into someone’s yard?”806Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡgMN3UjOrLy
He chuckled as he pulled away from me at tilted my chin up before kissing me softly on the lips. “This is my house,”
