Let's talk about... Nation Novel Writing Month for 2017544Please respect copyright.PENANAxmO05ROfD8
If you haven't registered for NNWM yet, you should. They've got a butt-ton of resources on their site to get you prepped and ready to go before DAY 01 takes off. You don't wanna get caught with your pants down! (That's a joke for you Pansters.)544Please respect copyright.PENANAZAZhtsmf3b
I've made a conscious decision to be a Plan-ster this year. So I've got a journal, a planning tracker, and a couple themes I wanna explore. I've got a handful of fleshed character profiles and a description of the town; a flow chart and an old crescendo map. That's it. That's the extent of my planning. The rest of it is gonna be fly-by-wire.
I've noticed that a lot of people have joined NNWM groups on Penana and I just have one question: Uh, why? Just a simple question. I'm not judging. Just curious.
Me personally, I'm probably gonna be on a hiatus from Penana for the month of November. I can't focus on several projects at once... well, effectively anyway. I'm gonna dedicate this year to actually finishing the race. It's gonna be no-holds-barred. It's gonna be writer-eat-self. It's going to be chaos and sleep deprivation and agony... and I'll probably come out a better writer by the end of it. Who knows--Maybe I'll even get this one published.
Oh Long Prose... How you slay me.
So, what are your plans? Are you going to take on NaNoWriMo this year? Or are you skipping out for better pastures? Are you already an author, and you really couldn't be bothered? Are you contributing to the online writing community in your region? Planning on going to any events?
If you find yourself in Hamburg, Germany this November, hit me up and we'll go to one of their events at Café & Bar CELONA!
Cheers --Blondie
