"A-ahhh...Akil." I moaned softly.
"You are enjoying this, yes?" He asked.
"Mhmmm....Don't stop."
"Your wish is my command." He whispered into my ear.
I closed my eyes and leaned my head back against Akil's chest as he rubbed my stiff shoulders. I sighed in relief as I felt the tension leave my shoulders. Then, I opened up my eyes and looked up at Akil. He smiled down at me then kissed my lips again. That's when I quickly pulled away from him and turned around to look at him.
"What is it, dear?" He asked.
I sighed. "Akil....We can't continue this."
"Why not?" He asked.
"Because...you're a prince. You're supposed to be meeting your future wife tonight. I'm just here to serve food and drinks. What if your dad realizes that we're both gone? He's going to think something is up."
Akil shook his head. "Do not worry about Father. If he says anything, I'll just tell him that I brought you up here myself."
"I can't let you take all the blame. I should get going. My mom might have noticed that I've been gone." I said then stood up.
I started to make my way towards the door when Akil got off the bed and grabbed my wrist then he pulled me into his arms. Suddenly, I felt my face being pushed into Akil's chest. I hadn't realized how good he smells until now. His scent was like a mix between honey and cinnamon. I couldn't help, but want to get a wiff of it.
"When will we see each other again?" He asked as he rested his chin on top of my head.
"I dunno." I said softly then started to pull away from him. I looked up at Akil.
"I...I have to get going." I said then turned and started to make my way towards the door and left the room.
I walked back downstairs as quiet and sneaky as I can be. I started to make my way over to my abandon tray when I saw my mom. She turned and looked at me.
"Where have you been?" She asked with a stern voice.
"In....the bathroom." I lied.
"For thirty minutes?" She asked.
I slowly nodded. I hope she couldn't smell the lie on me. I quietly watched my mom. She gave me a weird look, but didn't say anything else about it.
"Hurry up and finish serving the last of the appetizers before the party is over." She ordered then went back on the floor with more drinks.
I grabbed my appetizer tray and continued to serve food. I hadn't noticed that Akil eventually came down from his room and walked over to me. He tapped my shoulder and I spun around. I watched him grab an appetizer from the tray then take a bite out of it as he winked at me. I felt my heart quickly thump in my chest and slowly moved backwards until I bumped into someone. I turned around and quickly apologized to the person. She gave me a dirty look, but thankfully didn't say anything. I sighed then turned back around to face Akil when I noticed that he was gone.

The party was soon over. I was so glad because I wasn't sure how long I could take serving appetizers to rude rich people, but I also kinda didn't want the party to end because I enjoyed being around Akil and it seemed like every time I turned around, I kept catching Akil staring at me. Mom and I finally finished cleaning up when Akil and his parents walked over to us.
"Thank you for coming and helping out, Kakra and Asar." The King said.
"It's been a pleasure to meet you, Asar." The Queen said.
I smiled at the King and Queen and nodded. "I'm happy to help out."
I glanced over at Akil to see him smiling warmly at me. I suddenly felt butterflies in my stomach.
"Here's your pay." The King said, pulling out two full medium sized golden bags of coins. That's the currency we use here in Egypt to pay for stuff. He handed the two bags to my mom and she couldn't believe her eyes.
"I'm really grateful. Thank you so much, Sir." My mom said.
"Not a problem. I applaud your hard work and I might need it sometime again."
"We should get going. Have a good night." The Queen said.
Everybody turned around and started to walk away from each other. I walked away with my mom, but glanced over my shoulder at Akil. He looked at me and waved. I smiled and waved back before heading out the door.
"I'm going to go shopping for food tomorrow. Would you like to come?" Mom asked as we headed home.
I nodded. "Sure."
That night, I couldn't stop thinking about Akil and the way he smelled or the soft feeling of his lips against mine. It's weird, but I feel like being with him. Somehow, he sees me as much more than a simple, dirty, poor commoner. He sees me as a human being like him and that makes me happy. All my life, people have looked down at me for being a poor commoner, but not Akil. He looks past that. I sighed as I laid in my bed. I really would hate to have to let Akil go, but it's for the best. He needs to meet his Princess and marry her.
