After hanging out with his friends for a couple hours, Tyler decided to leave and go see Zig. He hadn't really hung out with Zig much and he had questions to ask him. When he got to Zig's suite, he knocked on the door.
"Hey, Tyler. What's up?" Zig asked after he opened up the door and stepped to the side to let Tyler in.
Tyler stepped into the suite and turned to Zig. "Hey. I wanted to talk to you. Are you free?"
Zig nodded as he closed the door. "Yeah. Sit. Get comfortable. Do you want anything to drink?" He asked.
Tyler nodded, plopping down on the couch. "Soda."
Zig headed to the kitchen and pulled out a can of soda and a glass from the cabinet. While Zig was busy, Tyler glanced around the suite.
"I can't believe it's only been last year when all of us were living together in this suite." Tyler commented.
Zig smiled. "Yeah, I bet. I wonder if I would've been living with you guys had I enrolled last year."
Silence hung in the air and after a few silent moments, Tyler stood up and walked over to the kitchen. He stood next to Zig and turned around, pressing his back against the counter.
"Zig, can I ask you something?"
Zig nodded as he dropped some ice into the glass. "Sure. What's up?"
Tyler took a deep breath to gather his thoughts and calm his nerves.
"Say....a guy kissed you out of nowhere."
Those words got Zig's attention and caused him to stop fixing Tyler's glass. Flashes of what happened between him and Manny last night at the party started flooding his mind. He slowly looked at Tyler in confusion.
"What about it?"
"And...you have confusing feelings about the kiss and the guy. What would you do?" Tyler asked.
Zig looked away thoughtfully. He wasn't sure he'll be able to give Tyler good advice on that type of situation since he's going through his own at the moment and the only other person who knows about it is Emily.
"This guy...what's he like?"
Tyler crossed his arms. "Well, he's arrogant and entitled on the outside, but on the inside, he's kind and thoughtful and a good listener. He's always been there for me while I've been going through some things with Abbie." He explained.
Zig stared at Tyler. "Tyler, are you talking about Sebastian?"
Tyler's eyes widen and he quickly whipped his head at Zig.
"What? No! This...this isn't Sebastian. It's another guy named...Bob."
Zig raised an eyebrow at Tyler. "Right..." He poured the can of soda into the glass before handing it to Tyler.
Tyler took it and thanked Zig before taking a long swig.
"Okay. So this Bob guy kissed you randomly and you don't know what to do about it?" Zig asked.
Tyler nodded. "Pretty much. I'm at a lost here."
"Well, you still love Abbie, right? Did you not tell him that?"
Tyler sighed. "He knows I care about Abbie, but..."
"Do you like him?" Zig suddenly asked.
"No! I don't! Why does everybody keep asking me that?" Tyler said, feeling frustrated right now.
Zig smiled then he gently patted Tyler's shoulder.
"If everybody keeps asking you if you like him, I think that means it seems like you like the guy."
Tyler pouted. "Well, I don't. He's just a good friend to me." He said with a firm nod.
"Okay. If you say so. I can't really give you proper advice since...I've never been in that type of situation, but I would say follow your heart. If your heart says to tell the guy that you love Abbie, do it. If it says something else, listen to it."
Tyler nodded, taking another sip of his drink. "Thanks." He handed Zig his glass.
"I'm gonna go. I've got a lot to think about it." He said and was on his way out when Aaron walked in through the door.
"Yo, Zig!" Aaron greeted then his eyes landed on Tyler. "Hey, bro."
Tyler gave a nod. "Hey, um I'll see you later, Zig. Thanks for talking with me." He said then he quickly left.
Aaron's eyebrows lifted then he looked at Zig. "What's up with him?"
Zig shrugged. "Long story."
Tyler walked through the snowy campus, deep in thought. Yes, Sebastian had kissed him, but that didn't mean he liked him! He didn't understand why his friends couldn't see that. He only sees Sebastian as a good friend. That on top of having a rocky relationship with Abbie was confusing and stressing Tyler out more. Tyler figured he'll just go home. He didn't think he could be around anyone right now.
"Oh, I need to give Sebastian his watch back."
Tyler quickly texted Sebastian and told him to come pick up his watch at the apartment before he headed over to his apartment to get Sebastian's watch. Tyler looked around the apartment until he found Sebastian's watch on the bed. He grabbed it and that's when he heard a knock at the door.
"Coming!"
He walked to the door and opened it to see Sebastian.
"Come in." He stepped to the side to let Sebastian in.
"How was hanging out with your friends?" Sebastian asked.
Tyler shrugged. "It was fun getting to hang out with them like old times. I even went to see Zig since it's been awhile."
Sebastian nodded. "That's good."
"Oh, here." Tyler handed Sebastian his watch back.
"Thank you." That's when Sebastian's eyes landed on Tyler's shirt which still had a coffee stain on it.
"I think you should clean your shirt." He pointed out.
"Huh?" Tyler looked down. "Oh. I forgot about this. I'll go clean it." He said then he headed to the bathroom.
Tyler turned the water on and wet a small towel then he started rubbing at the coffee stain. "It's not coming out."
Sebastian then entered the bathroom. "Do this instead." He said then he grabbed onto the bottom of Tyler's shirt and started lifting it up.
Tyler allowed Sebastian to help him out of his shirt and once his shirt was off, he noticed how awfully close they were. Tyler couldn't help, but to stare at Sebastian without a word.
Sebastian looked at Tyler then smirked. "Have you been thinking about Abbie lately?"
"Huh? Yes...I-I mean no!" Tyler quickly protested. "Why?"
Sebastian sighed. "That's unfortunate. I was planning on doing something to help you not focus on her again."
Tyler lightly gulped. "L-like what?"
Sebastian took a step closer to Tyler, watching him carefully.
"I...Sebastian..."
"Yes, Tyler?"
"I..." Tyler took a step back from Sebastian which made Sebastian take another step forward and it continued on until Tyler's feet hit the back of the tub and he started to fall backwards.
"Ah!"
Sebastian reached out and quickly grabbed onto Tyler's arm, pulling him forward. Tyler slammed into Sebastian and the both of them crashed onto the floor with Tyler landing on top of Sebastian, their faces just inches apart.
They stared into each other's eyes. Then, Sebastian slowly reached his hand out and gently cupped the side of Tyler's face. He slowly leaned forward, closing the distance between their lips.
