Unconditional Love. I know, how cliché right. But if you think about it, without love what would the point of all this be? Love creates sustaining relationships between people. Love makes us work together, gives us drive, purpose. Love brings into this world compassion, justice, hope, faith, order. Love - well, the tattered remains of love brought me here. All creatures upon this earth thrive from it. And all humans are desperate for it. Utterly desperate to hold it in our hands, ever fearful it will slip through our fingers. Love is knowing someone’s flaws and strengths. Seeing that they are not perfect; but vowing to stand by them as they grow and develop and change beside you.
Love changes you. True, unconditional love changes people. It makes you want to be better, to be stronger and not waste the time you have. To be worth it. My God makes me who I am through love.
It is when it is stripped from you. When you are denied what you instinctively yearn for. When you know it was by your hands that you stopped growing and watched it fade.
Do you realise.
Love was what inspired you all along.
