"Mr. Chang do you have everything packed and in the truck?" the driver asked and I nodded assured that everything had been checked for. "The other furniture you bought is in the truck and it will be with everything else once you reach Bangkok," he stated then I nodded once more and walked outside and to my car so we could drive to the airport. I didn't have many memories in this home since I only lived here for a while, I moved a lot when I was a kid and that continued into my teenage days. I'm 17 years old and this house in Bangkok will be my 13th one in my lifetime. I looked up ahead to see a red light and it took 2 minutes till it turned green. 120 seconds wasted on the road...I reached the airport after a 10-minute drive, actually 12 because of that light. I sighed then got off the car and walked into the airport. "When will the flight to Bangkok be boarding?" I asked a worker there and they kept staring at the computer they had "In 2 hours, the plane was delayed due to weather" she said and I nodded then walked over to a chair and put in my headphones. I put on the song "Wonderland" by Park Hyo Shin and turned the volume up, I turned my head to look outside and to take one last look at Shanghai, it was a beautiful city. I felt my phone buzz and it was a text from Li.

Li: When are you getting here???😩😩

Xin: Flight was delayed. I board in 2 hours...💔💔

Li: 💔💔💔The city feels so empty without you.

Xin: Don't you have school?😑

Li: I skipped because I wanted to wait for you.

Xin: Dummy...

Li:😓😓😓 I have to go my food is burning!!

Xin: Love you❣️❣️

Li: Love you too💓💓💓

I shut off my phone and put it back in my pocket along with my headphones. I breathed softly and thought about what Li said with his food 'When was he able to cook?' I asked myself then smirked at the thought of just chard food on a plate.I thought about Li while the minutes past and before I knew it they were calling for people flying to Bangkok. I walked through the long process of getting checked when I went to find my seat on the plane. '1C 1C 1C' I kept thinking of the seat number I had and once I found it I saw a young lady beside my seat. She had Blonde hair, light blue eyes, and her face had lots of makeup on. Once I got a closer look I saw that she was American and I just sighed then took my seat. "Hello...How are you?" she asked slowly while speaking English and I wanted to laugh right then and there but I was polite "Fine, I advise you sit down." I said to her and she instantly sat down then kept looking at me "Your hair...Can you see from that?" she asked at a steadier pace this time and I nodded "How old are you?" she asked another question and I started to get frustrated but I answered "17 years old" I said and her eyes lit up "Me too!!Do you have a girlfriend?" that was the final words I wanted to hear come out of her mouth so I ended our conversation with "I have a boyfriend" and stopped talking to her. She looked totally dumbfounded and I just scoffed. "Attention all passengers sit down as me depart to Bangkok." an intercom said and I smiled 'I'm close Li'

'Nothing bad will happen today...' I said to myself in the mirror while getting dressed and I prayed that Li was here today to protect me. I grabbed my phone and texted Li since be was my only contact on my phone that was my friend 

Bondong: Are you coming to school today?

Li: Noooo😓😓I can't I have to wait for someone to get here!!!

Bondong: is it the guy you're always talking about?🤔

Li: Yeah💞💞 He's moving here from Shanghai but the flight was delayed so he'll be here in 6 hours 💔💔💔.

Bondong: How can he handle you? You are so cutesy...he seems serious by the way you talk of him.

Li: But he's really sweet and cute when he's embarrassed!!👐👐

Bondong: I have to go or I'll be late for school...

Li: Byeee! Sorry I couldn't come today.

Bondong:  it's fine👋

I put my phone away then grabbed all my stuff and rushed to school. I reached my classroom in the nick of time and I was breathing heavily. I sat down and stayed quiet while the other students piled in, I tried my hardest to lay low and the most I got out of that was a slap on the back of my head by Kuan-lin. I didn't react to it and I heard the usual group laughing at me “Where's your little bodyguard? Did he give up on you?” he asked and I stayed quiet. “HEY! I asked you something!” he yelled in my ear then I didn't respond again, I felt his hand latch onto my shoulder and he pushed pressure down till the point of pain. “Mr.Hao! What do you think you are doing?!” Ms.Hisao yelled out loud to him and I felt the pressure relieved and a sigh of relief escaped my mouth “你不安全。(You are not safe)” I heard Kuan-lin say in Chinese and I tensed up then I just looked down to my desk. After the usual announcements, I heard Ms.Hisao talk about a new student coming “We will have a transfer student from Shanghai coming to our school his name is Xin Chang.” I felt a mix of happy and sad when I heard that because they will hear rumors that are rude about me and I won't get a friend...all I have is Li. After the classes, it was finally lunch and I escaped to outside to go to the tree that was across the lake that more tourists visited. It was such a beautiful sight, I laid down on the grass and closed my eyes thinking of how happy Li must be to see his boyfriend for the first time in 2 years...wow that's so long how does he even do it? I wonder how they met. Li always changes the story but the only time he was serious was when he told me back when I came over to his house and it was a week after Li came from his trip to China. “I went to China for that school trip that was optional for kids that wanted to adventure and I met a guy. We really hit it off and I think he is the one I may sound crazy but seriously you should have met him” Li was so excited to tell me about him but he never told me his name or what he looked like maybe he's trying to show off. From that day Li has been giving me updates on him and the one day Li was really mad because he wouldn't tell him that he was sick. “You won't believe what he did today. He had a fever but never told me and he's been suffering while I was laughing at school with my friends! I feel so bad right now and I've been trying to apologize but he's so stubborn."  Li usually said the word “He” a lot when texting me to describe him and I was happy that they get to see each other again. The only time Li has almost slipped up is when his boyfriend made the first move and kissed him the 2nd time Li went to China it was cute seeing him embarrassed talking about it. I breathing slowly then opened my eyes just to see Kuan-Lin smirking. Before I could react I felt a sensation of pain hit me and before I knew it I was up from the grass and pinned against a tree. “You realize that I could hit you right now and no one would know?” He asked and I nodded “Maybe if you stopped liking guys you would have more friends.” He said and I just stayed quiet “I'm talking to you! Now! How about you stop with this gay stuff and get a girlfriend maybe you'd be better off just leaving Thailand. No one wants you here!” He yelled at me then dropped me and I landed on my knees. I felt tears forming in my eyes but I held it in till he left and I just place my face in the grass and cried silently till there was nothing left in me. I sluggishly got up then walked out the gates and went home. Once I reached my house I saw a moving truck and my old neighbors were moving out. I ignored it and went inside my home then laid on my bed upstairs.

Come on Li you can't be nervous now. You see him a lot and he moved here for you… I sat in the airport waiting for his plane to land and then I heard the intercom “Attention, The plane from Shanghai has now landed.” I smiled brightly then waited for him to come through that door. And he didn't...the place was empty and I felt like crying when I saw someone and he started running up to me, he had a face mask on and a hoodie. I instantly knew who it was once he reached me. “Xin!” I yelled out and he laughed “You took forever.” I potted and he laughed and pulled his face mask down. “Yay! Finally!” “What do you mean by-” I cut off Xin’s sentence by kissing him and his eyes widened. I pulled out of the kissed and his face was bright red and he pulled his face mask up again. “Xin~ come on don't you have your moving truck coming tomorrow? You can stay at my place for the night!” I said to him and his face got even redder “Pervert~”. We walked outside then He drove to my house after I gave him my address. By the time we got there Xin was exhausted so he went to sleep in my room and I decided to sleep on the couch.
