Eventually, we were called to board our plane. I stood up and stretched out my body then I picked up my book bag and hoisted it on my back. I waited for Roscoe to get his bag before we both and my parents, headed into the plane. When we got inside, we quickly found our seats. My parents were gonna sit a couple rows back from me and Roscoe. I set my bag on the top shelf on the plane next to Roscoe's then I sat down next to him, sitting near the aisle seat while Roscoe took the window seat. I took out my camera and turned it on then faced it towards us.
"Let's take a picture." I said.
I got close to Roscoe and we both did a peace sign before I pressed the button and the camera took our picture. I looked at the picture on my camera and smiled then tucked it away. I watched as Roscoe took out his headphones and ipod so he can listen to music. Luckily, I brought along my DS so I can play when I get bored. I started to look around the plane and watched as people got on and found their seats then I looked behind me and watched my parents. They were getting situated too. I smiled softly then I turned back around and laid my head against the seat, ready for the plane to move.

A few hours later, it was already evening. Even though it's late, i'm not ready to sleep yet. When I looked at Roscoe, I smiled at seeing how fast asleep he is. Roscoe can pretty much sleep anywhere and it doesn't take long for him to fall asleep. He even falls asleep when we ride in cars and ride the school bus. I watched Roscoe sleep for a little bit, noticing how cute and peaceful he looks then I took out my camera and took a few pictures, wanting to capture his sleeping self before I put my camera back.
Finally, I rested my head on Roscoe's shoulder and listened to the faint music that came from his headphones. I got comfortable then I closed my eyes and rested my arm on top of his. Suddenly, I felt Roscoe grab my hand and hold it tightly in his. I smiled softly before I drifted off to sleep.

The next morning when I woke up, I lifted my head up and rubbed my eyes then I leaned over and opened up the window to look outside. That's when I noticed all the green areas and volcanos. I smiled brightly then took out my camera and started taking a few pictures before I turned to Roscoe. I pulled his headphones off his head and shook him gently.
"Roscoe, wake up." I whispered.
"Hm?" He said, slowly waking up.
"Look outside." I said.
Roscoe took a minute to wake himself up and when he did, he looked out the window.
"Wow. That's awesome." He said.
"I know. I already took a few pictures." I said with a smile.
Roscoe turned to me and smiled. "We're finally in Hawaii."
"Let's take a picture!" I said then positioned the camera.
"Another one? I just woke up." He said, groaning.
"C'mon. Just a quick one." I said then leaned in close to him and waited for Roscoe to get situated before I snapped a picture of us.
I smiled then tucked my camera away and continued to look out the window. The plane eventually landed at the airport in Hawaii. Me, my parents and Roscoe all grabbed our stuff then got off with everybody else. When we walked into the airport, we walked over to grab our luggage before meeting our tour guide who will be showing us around Hawaii.
"Hello. I'm Alana. You must be Mr. and Mrs. Evans." Alana said.
"Yep. That's us. This is my son, Ricky and his friend Roscoe." My dad introduced.
"Nice to meet you all. Let's head out to my car shall we?" She said then started walking out of the airport and we all followed after her.
We set our bags into her car then climbed in and buckled up. Alana started talking about Hawaii as she showed us around a little bit before taking us to our tiki themed hotel. We got out and went inside to check in before being shown to our room. Me and Roscoe ended up getting a room to ourselves which is great because it'll be awkward to share a room with my parents plus my best friend.
Me and Roscoe went into our room and set our bags down then I jumped on my bed and sighed softly. I couldn't believe that we're actually in Hawaii now. It seemed so surreal and unbelievable. I didn't think that this day would come where I get to go on a glorious vacation with my best friend, but it's happening now.
A moment later, me, my parents and Roscoe all headed back out to the car with Alana so she can continue to show us around. She showed us the beaches, the different restaurants and stores. She even showed us where some of the volcanos are and other places. Finally, she took us back to our hotel so we can relax. Apparently, the hotel we're staying at is supposed to have some celebration tonight outside. There will be lots of food and music and I couldn't wait to attend it.
