Catalina jogs down the street with the radio in her ear. She takes it out and puts it away. She sees a group of people walking into the main corridor of Sentry Incorporated. She raises her eyebrow slightly.

Vanessa hands her a card. She then walks to the elevator. She smiles at Catalina and the doors shut. Catalina looks at her watch and realizes that she is late. She runs out of the doors and down the street. She whistles for a cab and it stops. She gets in the car and tells the man where to go.

Catalina walks on the stage smiling at everyone. She sits beside her father. He then leans over to her with a smile on his face.

Dale got up and gave a speech. Catalina was not paying any attention to the speech at all. All she could do was stare into the crowds in front of her. They were all so focused on her father, the man of the hour. She knew what he was saying was good but she couldn’t bring herself to hear it. The city…her life, was a mess. It was going to take a lot of work to get everything together.

The board began to clap but there was not a single face that smiled for her. That encouraged her even more to keep her job. Even though she didn’t want it…at least not at the moment, there villainous heart made her want to force it down their throats that she was a favorite of her grandfather and he’d give her anything she’d ask for. The company was hers, and they weren’t going to take it.
