But her face only showed, nothing else. He thought he'd see his reflection but he didn't show up, instead she did. "Mary, Mary you're here." The man in the real world, he couldn't believe the image his eyes were giving him, The first woman that not only kissed him. But left a kissmark on his soul that even after all this time. It still shines her lights, it still screams her songs. And her name is still carved in it in cursive. "How are you here Mary, how is this possible," said the man. But no words left the mouth of Mary, she just stood there, looking at the brown eyes of Rob.
"Mary say something please, it's been so long!" "Forty years my love, I can still remember since the day those ropes were tied around my neck so clearly," said Mary.
Rob didn't know what to say, his mind went in blank. He hasn't thought about that gorey moment in years, in decades. But he remembered how his screams for her traveled through the dark streets, he remembered every bruise and cut on his flesh the day after. And how he mourned for her in his darkest of nightmares. "Mary you still look as young as back then, I don't see a single wrinkle on you"
"Love, you've gotten so old, I see no strive in your eyes anymore," said Mary. "I guess that's what life does to you, it beats you till your all warn out."
"Mary I prayed for you, I know I'm just seeing things again," said Rob. "I know you're not real, I can't even count how many times I've seen you sitting in my couch like I've never lost you," said Rob.
"Love, I know I may be behind this mirror, but I promise with all my heart that I am real," said Mary.
"No, your not real, go away! Go away!" Screamed Rob.
It wasn't long before Rob heard the the thundering of footsteps, and the loud breaths of his son. "Dad! What's going on!" Said his son putting his hands on his shoulder. "Oh it tears at my heart to see how you moved on with your life Rob," said Mary. Rob's heart starting going mad, he could feel every drop of blood that coursed through him. And his jaw couldn't close.
"What, the fuck, is that." Said his son with widened eyes.
Rob felt every vein constrict his left hand. He felt like his whole hand was on fire, and he couldn't put it out. And then he felt something in his heart burst, be felt as if a swift spear pierced a precise whole in his in his chest. He couldn't take it anymore, his legs could no longer hold his body, they trembled with strain. And his knees bent, making him fall to the floor.
"Dad! Dad!" Said his son.
"Rob, love don't die now please!" Said Mary.
"How the hell do you know my dad's name!"
