I think voting for younger people should be a well-established norm in society. It is something that educates children about the political world in which they live and prosper in, and furthers their independence to make important choices; choices that can affect the future of an entire nation. To compete with a world that is intricate yet harsh, young people need to understand how important it is to contribute to their country and it's government system. It doesn't necessarily need to be patriotic, but showing the gesture that you are willing to shape the operation of a country for even further generations. Political matters are very important to be aware of, and teaching that at younger ages will shape young people to learn how to make rational and thoughtful votes displaying their opinions independently.
