Bome's work, like some of the anime on which it is based, often combines cute facial features with exaggerated sexual attributes such as large, gravity-defying breasts. Quoted from Wikipedia.
I had some extra thoughts on General Relativity. Such as Einstein's thought experiment on how to view time. I think the idea that past and future occur constantly, and consistently always is possibly flawed, and probably wrong . . . It is an idea that the past and future influence each other and that we could see the whole of time at once if we just could look at it the right way. What a load! Time has all sorts of distortion and ripples caused by gravity, and not only that, time would not exist if there were no motion of objects through space. It is called a Space/ Time Continuum for a reason, objects, space, and time are all intrinsically linked. One would have to be able to not only see all of "When" but all of "Where" at the same time for that interpretation of the time aspect of the General theory.
What is time in the General Relativity Theory, then? In every way that I have come to understand it, time is one continuous event that only moves in one direction, and that direction is dictated by the movement of objects in space. Time travel is as unlikely as breaking the speed of light. I am not saying either cannot be done, but the best view of astrophysics, so at the current time, neither thing can be done.
Relativity does not account for things that happen on a subatomic level, and there is quite a bit that we do not understand in particle physics, so either answer about time travel or hyperspace drives might be discoverable in the quantum mechanics realm. But as far as it looks, time is considerably more static than many scientists want to believe. One continuous event. Continuum.
Stan Lee Died yesterday, since my title reflects that superhero stories contain redemption arcs that are reserved for "Avengers" and the like, but often not for common real-life folk like you and me, I have to interrupt this regularly scheduled General Relativity chapter for a special report.
Can anyone truly imagine a world without The Amazing Spiderman? All I can imagine is "What a sad place planet Earth would be." Thank you Stan Lee for creating 99% of my favorite Superheroes. But if you had not invented no-one but Spidey the world would still be in your debt. Excelsior! And bon voyage. Stan Lee's inventive mind has not only made for good entertainment, but it gave us a way to look at our own life. Comic book characters, especially Spiderman, have given us a way to examine (and over-examine) our flaws but helped us to realize we can overcome our defects in a heroic way, to celebrate our own humanity and then overcome it.
In this way Stan Lee was a superhero in his own right. In a not so dissimilar way, Albert Einstein should be remembered as a superhero as well. I knew I could segue this back into my original topic.505Please respect copyright.PENANAjJZfbriXZ1
