Taking 6 months off from writing did NOT help me in the slightest, at least as far as this project is concerned. It literally took me 3 days to figure out which of my 8 pocket-journals i’ve Used for the rough-draft I had ended in, and whether there were any snippets  I may have skipped because they may have been for either a sequel, or my anthology of stories too small and/or bland to be added in the main canon. You know, reference stories and notes that would be referred to, or used to guide the unfolding of events, but probably neber see the inside of a publishing house.

The downside is that I am just today actually making real progress on the hard-copy-to-digital transcriptions. Meaning that as far as my NaNoWriMo goals of writing 31 hours this month, I’m on the 3rd and have logged half the hours I should be at by the end of today. I also reconnected with one of my proofreaders, so as I resume cranking out chapters via transcription, I can forward them to her for a first-glance look. I suppose we’ll see what the week has in store, considering my extensive to-do list of non-writing items that also have looming deadlines.
