The war is over. That what was left of the once-mighty Empire was saved, but not through the famous victory, but a desperate diplomatic compromise. The wounds will heal, no matter their size, but there is always a scar left behind. In this case, the scar is huge.
Hardly a quarter of its original population survived in Green Grove, people either fled to the surrounding regions or stayed far on the border of Green Grove. Restoring Green Grove will not be impossible, but it will be very difficult at least, almost all the larger cities were completely destroyed and burned along with a large part of the villages.
Gregorian was in a much better situation, the Dark Ones weren't busy with towns and villages, they were going straight to the Imperial City. Hundreds of people, elves and Stormers, and perhaps hundreds or thousands of the Dark Ones, fell in the final battle.
Creatures from across the Empire began to move freely where they wanted, except the dark elves.
A new era of seafaring began in Gregorian, brave sailors of all races took trips far into unknown waters to discover new lands.
The Dark Elves were handed over under the control of the newly formed Mage Watch or Wardens of Magic, founded by one of Enric's former knights. Their mission is to oversee above all the magic in the Empire.
Enric soon married Silveria, they worked together for the rebirth of Green Grove.
People from the desert were offered to move to the Green Grove, many of them did, but some of them enjoyed the life in the desert more.
Elves from the Northern Ashnaton forest were banned from contacting their southern dark neighbours. The Dark Elves were cast into the utter isolation by the Mage Watch. There have been reports about the experiments the watchers are committing on the dark elves. But no one was able to confirm these rumours.
Stormers established business relations with the entire Empire. Some went to the Green Grove and became talented builders, architects and blacksmiths.
The Dark Ones returned to the Forbidden Territory, there the reports about them end. Maybe they decided to live in peace again, maybe not.
However, with the artefact on the Wall of Sorrow, they should not be able to attack soon.
A strange peace was achieved, but for how long?
