The alleys were more darker than the streets, a deep silence covering the city like a cozy blanket.
Suddenly, something came out from one of the alleys, it's eyes were shining in the darkness, a round, golden green colored, with a hint of black in the pupils, a small body covered with silky fur coat of a slightly burgundy color, a little bit of black on the edge of each hair, a little pointed ears and a long tail with a pointy end which was completely black at the end. It looked like a cat but also like a fox.
It stated running from one alley to another, one street to another, jumping from one building to another, having the speed of a fox and flexibility of a cat.
It was running carefree on the streets when suddenly something started flying over it. It looked up and saw a gigantic flying bird over him. A demon!
It started running towards a nearby alley to hide, when he felt little warmth near his tail. It twisted its neck to check what's wrong with his tail, when he saw a small golden-orangish thing on his tail. A fire.
It waved it's tail in order to put off the small fire his tail had caught. When it went out he dived in the nearby trash can to hide, when he saw the demon approaching him again. It opened it's mouth and a big fire volcano erupted from it's mouth. A Fire Breathing Demon! Just what the poor thing wanted! It dived in the trash can at the right time.
The demon was flying right above it, as if waiting for it to come out. He peeked a little out of the can to see if the demon was still there, and yes it was, until an arrow went flying straight from it's heart, and the demon shredded in flames.
When he saw the source of it, he saw a teenager approaching towards him, but this time he didn't dived in, instead he came out of the can and stood beside it. He knew that teen was coming towards him.
"Oh! You poor thing!!" The teen said, grabbing the creature in hands and stroking him gently on his back. He purred at the soft touch of that hands, it was soothing and calming.
"Looks like the demon was hunting for the food! You okay bud?" The man said, scratching his ears and slightly kissing above his nose, the creature looked him from his golden eyes shining brightly at him, purred a little and let out a soft meow.
The guy knew that it was fine now, so he kept it on the ground and went in the direction he came from. The creature looked at that man vanishing in that direction, his eyes focused on him, there was a glimpse of hope in that eyes which vanished quickly as quickly as that guy. The creature started running again until it reached an open balcony, he went into the loft through that open balcony, until he was in the living room, he put his paws in front of him bending them at a certain angle, lowering its face on the ground, the creature started to change in a man, he was wearing black pants, a whitish-gray colored shirt, with a scarlet colored jacket, which has a glittery finish in its lapels and pocket edges, finishing the look with black colored shoes. He has a lot of make up on his face, a smokey finished eye shadow over the eyes, a perfectly put eye liner, with dark kohl under his eyes, a slight glittery finish in both of them, his hairs were spiked up with the tips of his hair having a shade of red in them, and a lot of glitter.
He rose up from the floor, waved his fingers in the air, when a glass of Martini appeared out of nowhere. He took a small sip while looking out of the window, his eyes reflecting the city of New York lights.
"A young nephilim who saved an animal from a demon, it's rare for a nephilim to have that in them." He said while sipping his matini. "Will be looking forward to meet you one day, my dear nephilim." He said with a smirk on his face, gulping the whole Martini in one sip.
