The sound of birds singing and wolves howling awoke me from my sleep. Yawning, I sat up from the nest I had created in the tree of this gorgeous forest.
This forest is called “The Forest Of Souls” I’ve lived here for as long as I can remember...I remember I used to live here with a friend...he was my age with short brown hair, beautiful soft blue eyes and a smile like no other. He went missing a couple years back on my 15 birthday we were playing hide and seek in the forest with a couple animal friends, but I guess I should get in to the story now...
My name is Alex Serendipity...I am currently 16 and live in this beautiful forest, of course this forest isn’t a normal forest this forest is full of supernatural spirits and creatures of all kinds, beautiful or ugly you were welcome and greeted happily here.
I am one of them, I am what is called a Trickster...or in other words a pixie. I don’t remember when I was born or my family...in fact I don’t remember much at all, but I do have the same dream over and over again where a glowing star shaped relic is falling into a pit of darkness.

Sometimes when I’m alone at my favorite pond I like to wish I was one of their creations...you see they create every living being in this place but I have no memory of being created...why? I have no idea.

I heard a twig snap and I turned quickly, “who’s there?” I had asked, a boy around my age emerged from the edge of the clearing. His hair a glistening white and his eyes a bright crystal blue. I couldn’t take my eyes off him for a second.

He smiled and walked over to me “I am not afraid, I’m more curious then afraid...why are you out here all alone?” He had asked me, I looked up from the dirt covered ground and locked eyes with him.
“I don’t have anyone to go anywhere with...and I find this place peaceful...” I said, he frowned “do you visit here often?” He asked, I nodded and he cocked his head to the side. That’s when I noticed his beautiful wings, they were huge and butterfly shaped but what really caught my eye was the swirling pattern of glistening diamonds.
He caught me looking and smiled “mind if I ask you for your name?” He said. I raised an eyebrow “your the prince?” I had asked, he nodded. “I didn’t expect to be meeting you in a place like this...” I had replied, he chuckled. His laugh sounding like water trickling down a side of a gorgeously built fountain. “And I didn’t expect to meet a pixie in my territory “ he said.
My eyes widening I backed away slightly and curtsied “I am truly sorry I can leave if you want” I said, he laughed causing me to blush and took my hand in his.
“You don’t need to leave...I just wasn’t expecting it...but I do have a question” he had said, I looked up regaining my posture.
“Alright?”
”I noticed you didn’t have wings...and your a pixie which is unnatural...did you somehow fail the pixie cup test?” He had asked, I frowned “oh no...it’s not like that....you see it’s because I don’t remember a thing about my past...everything is blank...” I had said, he raised an eyebrow and sat on an overgrown mushroom “is that so?” He said thinking.
I nodded and he patted the side of the mushroom as if telling me to sit, I joined him and he looked at me “would you like to come to the Queens Ball this year as my plus one?” He asked, I jumped up surprised, “but I barely know you! And...and your the prince!” I said. He laughed and stood up. “Well yes, but my mother is arranging a marriage for me and if your my plus one I won’t get stuck with a random fairy” he explained.
