It was that type of scene you only see in horror movies. Small apartment, stuffy and surrounded with a very small light coming from half-closed curtains. Blood could be seen all the way from the entrance door leading to a small hallway. Not only the blood was smeared on the wall, but the wooden floor was soaked too. Kim Jong-in was feeling sorry at that point for the people living downstairs. It would be impossible if that amount of blood didn't leak through the wooden boards. The police officers secured the area with the crime scene tape. Photographs have been taken, covering everything from all angles, including the body. Once they have completed that they begin looking for a cause and manner of death, but with this case, it was completely unnecessary. 277Please respect copyright.PENANAlgOSC5xdlO
If Kim Jong-in had a weak stomach, it would twist right now, but being alive for almost 100. Years and seeing worse than this, one scattered body would make him smirk. It was so amateur to him, so sloppy and the point the killer wanted to leave behind him had no sense. Scattered limbs, drained blood that was smeared and splattered everywhere after it was drained? Like he was trying to prove what he's capable of, he wanted to be remembered.277Please respect copyright.PENANA3yO0nQPH2U
Tap on his shoulder adverted his thoughts from the killer for a moment. He caught the scent of his friend and forensic pathologist, Lu Han. Their faces meet, Lu Han smiles giving Kim Jong-in some papers. Kim raised his eyebrows in confusion.277Please respect copyright.PENANARe9cFcbKnz
"You are positive?" Kim asked while Lu Han nodded. Since the killing started two weeks ago, Kim was noticing how only one thing was in common among the victims: Their blood type. Lu Han's forensic department just confirmed. Victims usually have hair and faces, jobs, people or backgrounds to link them together, but the only thing that was linking these victims was O-negative blood type.277Please respect copyright.PENANAg9X7XkF7pN
"Oh yeah, Kim?"
"Hmm?" Kim didn't raise his head, he just nodded and hummed in response.
"You need to feed!" The words just roller over Lu Han's lips like that statement was something casual to be discussed.
"You better watch your tongue, Lu Han! There are officers everywhere." Kim gritted his teeth, annoyed by his friend. Even though Lu Han was the one who found him rampaging through a full strip club fifty years ago, drunk and hungry, he was the older Vampire.
Lu Han's nest was not too far from the Gangnam district were Kim Jong-in was born. He took him in, and since then, Kim was living with Lu Han and his other ten siblings. He was grateful but yet he was the first pure-blood Vampire among them, and they respected him.277Please respect copyright.PENANAAyXjE1cKau
"Kai, your eyes are getting red!" Kai ignored Lu Han and Lu Han got used to it. It's not the first time Kai is refusing feeding. His 'So-called diet' will be the death of him. "I'm just saying, I don't want to see you burn!" Lu Han left the room, so did Kai. He knew his old friend was right, but he didn't want to admit it to himself. He passed a few people gathered around the building entrance trying to get a look at what was happening. He knew his best friend was working a graveyard shift at the Gangnam Hospital. He dialed the number while he was searching for his pocket to find his car keys. After a few beeps, a soft, bubbly voice answered; "Vampire ER, this is Park Jimin speaking, how can I help you?" Kai signed, entering the key in to the keyhole. "Vampire ER? Seriously, that's old even for you Jimin!" A giggle echoed through the phone as his friend, Jimin, recognized the voice. "Ah! Long time no see or heard for that matter! Whit what I can satisfy one Dhampire needs?" He sounded interested in Kai's call. He almost never calls, and he heard he was most of the time on the diet. "Stop fooling around Jimin, I'm there in 3 hours!" He hangs up, he was fed up with everyone needing him to feed on blood, innocent blood. No matter how much it was in his nature, he was more dedicated to his Human side than to his Vampire side. Knock on his car window interrupted his thoughts, he rolled it down. Before he could utter the word a nice smell of roses, cinnamon and chocolate filled his nostrils. The sun was blocked by a small, heart-shaped face surrounded by a mixture of pink and red hair. At that moment everything went to slow motion; Through her eyes, he could clearly see her, but an only the younger version of the girl in front of him, dancing in the backyard filled with pink roses. Her naturally blond hair was in pigtails, and she was singing the song about Autumn. Like someone pressed fast-forward, he was taken somewhere else. It was merely a dark bedroom, only now he was looking through her eyes. A blond boy, little older than her, was telling her to be quiet. He felt her fears, her tears, her pain. The boy locked her in the closet and stepped away. Everything was playing so fast. An older man came in yelling and screaming at the boy demanding for something before he started beating him. Then the memories stopped for a second and then another scene played out; A woman, lying on the bed, drops of sweat strolls down her forehead and then to her bonny cheeks. The girl was holding her hand still sobbing, tears all over her face and her neck. The woman closed her eyes and the girl started crying louder and louder. He felt like someone invisible is dragging him out just a moment before he was ready to jump and protect her from all the pain she's been through.277Please respect copyright.PENANAiUTOqvdDFV
"Mister! Please, move your car!" Even the sound of her voice was mesmerizing, but he held his guard up. He had no idea what just happened, he never felt so many emotions and so powerful attachment. He was still shaken up while he was driving away from the girl he just meets. He took a detour and headed straight to the Gangnam district.277Please respect copyright.PENANADus4UACYar
He had to see Lu Han.
"What's happening to me?!" He yelled the moment he busted through the double doors marching straight into the office. Lu Han tossed the morning papers confused with Kai's question. "Wow, slow down K, what happened?" Kai told him about his way out from the crime scene to meeting that girl in the parking lot and straight to the point. "That's called Memories Lane, Kai! And, that's not possible, only werewolf can do that!" While Lu Han was talking, Kai was drinking the second glass of whiskey. "Do what, Han?! What's happening to me?" In seconds, his friend put his hands on Kai's shoulders trying to calm him down; "You just Imprinted on a human, my friend!"277Please respect copyright.PENANA1LIOLAIv5o
