This has been the longest week of my life it seems. I sat up in my bed and turned off my alarm clock. I cannot sleep with the anxiousness building up inside me and the increasing depression that accompanies this. I wiped my eyes with my sleeve and let a single tear trickle down my cheek. I walked into the cold air and put my hood on my head. I could see my breath coming off as I started jogging down the road. Why must life mock me like this? I can not ever risk losing someone else I love so I can never be in a relationship. After a few minutes of sprinting, I bent over to catch my breath. I was dripping with sweat or were those tears, I couldn't tell. The only woman I ever loved and will love was my Mom. If I were to ever love another woman I would be abandoning her which I will never do. I shook my head quickly to convince myself of this. I was going mentally insane waiting for the initiation. I sat down on a park bench and looked around. A group of kids was playing on a playground and a few ducks were swimming in a nearby pond. All of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder and the rain for some reason stopped hitting me.
