Now that title is something you can dream of only when you play Minecraft. But writing a story is somewhat the same. When an author pens down his work, he creates his own world, breathes life into people, give them their responsibilities and roles. They create events, twists, suspenses that has to define our protagonist.
To make a story successful is to make that little world more descriptive, alive and brimming with incidents. Every author has a perspective or a point of view, and how well the reader understands and agrees with them can send your little manuscript into the limelight.
The normal set up for stories are four,
1. Characters
2. Problem
3. The ascending climax
4. The solution or descending climax.
When you write a story, its not the character you should develop, but the environment he lives in. Then you have to show your reader how those changes can define our protagonist and what it can lead him to.
An author's talent lies in expressing the ordinary into something extraordinary. 'The setting sun' or 'evening' can be said as 'the sky choked to red, then a bright orange before fusing into a bland yellow, as the sun was pulled into the abyss'. And fill your book with suspenses and small pockets of information.
Penmanship is not a born talent, its an acquired skill. So to all authors, start writing your contribution to literature. All authors, start Creating Your World....
