It was blank. Well at least in her mind, the painting was blank no matter how many times she stared. It was splashing with colors though, it was supposedly her favorite painting when she was herself. She couldn't help but think to what kind of things she liked and didn't. Perhaps she lied about this painting to fit the interest of someone else which is more than likely but it really didn't matter. It was then she conceived her brilliant plan. Grabbing some white paint she simply poured it onto the canvas. She stared at the white dripping mass that was blank but oddly not. It drooped as though weary and she pictured a tired wise face in the blankness but she didn't capture that image on the canvas. No, she left it blank so the mind can work itself to see what it wanted. In a hopeful but fleeting thought she believed that it would somehow bring the past up, somehow make her memories bubble to the surface. 1028Please respect copyright.PENANAR0HnTihLQu
The drooping of the paint and the odd air bubbles that stayed reminded her eerily of her brain. A weary blankness that only seemed to have only a few memories left. It was oddly fulfilling to have something that reflected her but then she felt a sharp tug at her brain and heart. Knowing that those memories that she had may never come back made her very being ache with a painful and harsh sort of longing. The people in her past life undoubtedly missed her and her presence but she was lost in her own little canvas. Perhaps a part of her didn't want to lose this strange feeling of fulfillment, the part that enjoyed the very simple way of life. Then there was her less crazed and more reality based self that truly wanted to see her memories depicted on the canvas by her own brain. It was an internal battle that kept eating at her brain like a parasite and it would only continue to feed off of that emotional turmoil she had been going through.1028Please respect copyright.PENANApsFy2ENlDP
Her doorbell rang and when she cracked it open a bit and found a vase of forget-me-nots. They had a note attached, she brought the flowers in and examined the note.1028Please respect copyright.PENANA5htRbwVupj
"For the promise we made, smell these flowers if you wish to keep that vow." the note was signed beautifully by Jacob Grahm.1028Please respect copyright.PENANAbJE1hUd5j6
In a suspicious yet eager way she smelt the flowers and smiled. 1028Please respect copyright.PENANAZrYTcBkALe
The flowers did as the note said and all was right in her world again, her heart was content in a grand way but she still kept the tired looking painting. It did and always will give her sense of fulfillment.1028Please respect copyright.PENANASschSh3Lbt
