Ross's P.O.V
We sat hand-in-hand in Barney's car. We had to take the backseat, but that's okay. Adam got a babysitter for Mason, and everything's alright. Just like the voice said.
Monster
How should I feel?
He was like a monster, Adam. I say that because you look at him and he looks like a major asshole, but once you take the time. Everyone has a backstory.
I heard Adam's voice echoing in my ear.
"All alone he turns to stone, holding his breath half to death. Terrified of what's inside. To save his life, he crawls like a worm from a bird."
I rested my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes. I got that sickening feeling again in my stomach, I felt awful. I really didn't want to do the challenge. Adam must have noticed because I felt his arm wrap around me.
"You okay?" He asked me in a soft, yet not-whisper tone.
I shook my head "no" and snuggled up closer to him. My eyes were heavy, and we got up about... what? Three, four hours ago? I can't remember. We hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch, but I didn't want to eat.
He kissed my temple and I looked down.
"Okay, lovebirds, we're dealing with stupid traffic. But, if you wanna, we can turn and get food if you're hungry."
Adam looked at me and I shook my head again. I held my stomach. It felt like swords were stabbing me, over and over again. I felt like I was dying, even though I wasn't.
"You're looking flustered as in you're runnin' a fever. Somethin' wrong? Are y' sick?"
It was hesitant, but I shrugged lightly, not trying to look rude.
"Ey, don'ts yous throws up ins my car!"
"It's gonna be okay, it's gonna be okay. This issue is temporary so attempt to wait for one more day." Adam reassured me.
I smiled and waited for us to get to the office. I felt safe, just sick. Like, really sick.
Holy fuck, why is this just now coming?
I let out a heavy sigh and closed my eyes, traffic was horrible. Soon enough I was asleep.
Adam's P.O.V
I felt concerned for Ross, he didn't look to good. Well, he looks good, but you know what I mean. I am not gonna break the fourth wall again, you know how much that costs to repair?!
I ran my fingers through Ross's brown, semi-messy hair lovingly. I smiled a bit. Max looked back at us, but looked at me directly. He spoke.
"So Adam, didn't know you had a fancy for guys."
"Shut up, I've already said I was bisexual. Besides, don't make a big deal out of it. And if you dare put that vlog on YouTube, I will kick your ass. Do you understand?!"
"E-Eh, yes. Yes I understands."
" 'Course Adam."
"Good. And if you do, despite my warning. You should and will be afraid."
I warned them. I didn't care if that was a threat or not. I held Ross closer, keeping him in my arms. But soon enough we were at the offices. I unbuckled my seat belt and Ross's, careful not to wake him. I got out, letting Ross lie down before I went over to the other side.
I was able to get Ross in my arms, but unfortunately I woke him up.
"Nope, I'm still gonna carry your ass inside."
I heard him chuckle and I smiled. He was in my arms bridal style, but I was surprised I could even lift him. But I have been on a diet, so that pays off.
I began humming as I carried Ross inside.
I got an idea
I smirked and looked at Ross, who looked quite comfortable in my arms.
"Hey Ross, do a dramatic pose." I said through chuckles.
"Okay."
He posed dramatically in my arms and I purposely fell on my knees once we reached to the room everyone was in.
"Ross! Why?! Why didn't you just take the stairs?!?!?" I cried out in fake agony, trying to hold in chuckles and laughter.
Barney and Cory were the first to start laughing. Scott played along and rushed over to me.
"Adam! What happened!?"
I was fake crying.
"Ross, he...he fell off the bridge..!"
Scott then started laughing and couldn't play along anymore. Ross opened his eyes and started chuckling.
"ROSS! YOU'RE ALIVE!"
I got off my knees and raised Ross in the air, like the thing in Disney's "The Lion King" movie.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Savenyaaaaaa!!!! Eeeeveeeeveevabooo!!" I yelled, then I started laughing.
If they weren't already, everyone started laughing and chuckling. Giggles involved. The room was filled with laughter.
After everyone calmed down, I set Ross down and helped him stand. He was looking a little pale in the face, so I told him to go lay on the couch.
"Ross, go lay down."
"No, I wanna watch this."
