Persona in Passage #490
I just took a nap. I barely even tried to scratch my car now it’s gone!?
I know, I’ve been abusing that thing since the day I had it but now it’s gone without a trace… I realized how much I’ve lost and how terrible it feels. I wish I said goodbye.
As I was motivated enough to continue treading this endless road, I happen to find a strange helmet lying on the ground. I picked it up and took it with me… did my car transformed into this?
A raindrop fell on the tip of my nose as I jogged. I touched it and saw its distorted moving colors and when I looked up to where it came from…
The heavens were decorated with tainted cracks. Then the earth suddenly shook, braking and shattering more pieces of the sky. The quake did not come from below, I concluded, for the trees remained unmovable as spaces above separated constantly and it began to rain… too heavily as of streams and it caused a flood.
I climbed to the trees for safety but the water rose too quickly – drowning the trees with its spectrum beauty. I knew how to swim so I reached for its surface; and when I arrived… I was on a dry tub… inside a room… I’m so confused.
“I don’t understand! ADAM should be able to stop most of the passages heading to point-conscience but it can’t solve the problem properly- look it’s just containing the subject to a stable fabricated reality! And here’s EVA, trying to lessen the chaos by destroying some of the fragments. May God have mercy! If one of these persona meet, it would be the end of us.” The Lieutenant was suppose to be in rage and giving her best to help the AI’s decide better solution, yet now, it was as if she chooses to accept her fate or face the facts of the unstoppable.
“Let me handle that!” The Commander had enough, he pushed the woman hard enough to make her fall on the floor like a log; and then he began giving orders to the systems and manually controlling the situations experienced by the resource.
Persona in passage #8
I can’t find my sister. I searched everywhere! Every space and shade… I explored it all but she’s too good in hiding… not just in the game but the truth as well.
My heart pounded too fast and I’m losing air because of panic and desperation. I’ve check the silent neighborhood, just to know we were just surrounded by fully furnished empty houses. The old car disappeared too and my parents won’t answer my call. I felt scared and worst of all, lonely.
There was nothing positive about the situation; I still have the key that I found- could this be the price of my treasure? Just for a useless object, I was able to lose it all at once!
I nearly threw it to be lost with the others when I found a mirror at the door step… He was staring blankly at me, as shock as I was and from the entrance, he went out… he went closer and closer… a lost soul, completely like me… no, this is me… how did I get separated from this part of me.
We were on the road outside the house, face to face, silent and fazed. Both of us were still as the world around us raged with lightning and thunder. It rained for the first time in summer… then he touched me and we became one… A light searching for the others.
“Titus please! We have done enough…do you still remember your promise? It could be our last hope.” She tried to reach him and find a way to save the others from the wrath of the child of darkness.
“Is there other ways Beitt?” He asked and he looked at the woman sternly “Tell me the other ways officer!” he became mad for he remembered what he stated. The higher official grabbed her by the neck “You let this all happen!” the officer was losing the lights on her eyes when he dropped her. “Sorry… I didn’t mean to… Beitt, I’m serious… this can’t be the end.”
“If you won’t take the sacrifice, I will!” She regained her posture, snatched the other’s access pass and walked out of the headquarters.
But her company immediately closed the doors in the command center “I won’t let you die alone. I was involved in your schemes for permitting you all this time… the courts are with us to, everyone is… if only we stayed on earth and never give up organizing our morals and values… He would not have existed.” The commander realized and it made her smile.
“We know it’s too late but let’s try to fix this.” The Lieutenant’s swift fingers were back to the screens and her friend was helping on the way of change.
Persona in passage #257
It is still chasing me. It has no mouth to give any reason, no soul for mercy, no form for light – it’s literally nothing just darkness… Silence and destruction on its path. I don’t get tired or breathless. My instincts tell me to run away, hide… don’t let it touch you… and there’s this little part of me that whispers… stay.
What I see now, is what I should believe ‘it will kill me’ though my heart calls ‘let it have you’
Is it a pointless chase?... I’ve been alone since, no one would know, no one would care if I die today… Is this supposed to be death on its truest form?
I slowed and it crept on me.
I faced it as it went nearer and the place went colder.
It’s force took some of my skin and hair.
Until it came and-… a light appeared in between.
It wasn’t as strong and massive as the chaos behind, yet all the shadows cowered at its presence. The warm ball of whiteness dropped a key on the floor below my feet. I took it and nodded for I know where it belongs.
We returned to my favorite classroom… though only the door and its frame were left on the hard desert ground of the area. I inserted and twisted…
I saw another world… it was a sadder place… the sky never stopped crying though it’s so bright and the world was gray and filled with ruins.
