The fact is since social media is part of our lives, the Parent-Teenager conversation is two ways. Girls, and boys, react differently to what their Mom and Dad say in the house; conversation can be short, or long.
If it fails, the daughter can slam the bedroom door, and listen to rock music on her I-pad, and give them the classic signs of the Silent Treatment for hours.
