"Nightmares carry secret messages. It can be bad, but we need to know what it means."
Dreams can be good or bad. It carries secret messages that we will ever need. Have you ever thought of searching for the meaning of what you dreamed of last night? Dreams tell you what you know about something, how you really feel. Check yourself. Perhaps this is the reason why you dreamed a lot.
She woke up one hour before her class. Her class will start at seven in the morning, but her head felt heavy because of the bad dream. She relaxed for a bit before getting up. She took only fifteen minutes to prepare herself for school and another five minutes to eat her breakfast. Luckily, her house was very near to her school. She could go there for about ten minutes or less on foot. Eloise gave her mom a sweet kiss before going. She closed the door and bid goodbye.
She had been teaching English literature for about two years in a high school near her neighborhood. She had no choice but to be on this job. To be honest, she never thought she would be in this kind of profession. However, at times she has felt a little lucky because she didn't need to consume most of her time traveling. She also had an opportunity to look after her mom. Her dad passed away ten years ago, and her brother last year made the condition of her mom even worse as time goes by. Her mom suffered from short term memory loss. She felt guilty every time she left her mom with the private nurse she hired last year. She had no choice but to do it. Luckily, everything changed after that.
I felt guilty most of the time but my Mom's condition got better after I hired Santy. For me, we were a blessing in disguise from each other. I met him one rainy evening in the Metro. I saw him crying on the train, feeling devastated. I asked him the reason, and he told me he got fired from a private hospital that he had worked for almost five years. In a very magical way, out of nowhere, I offered him a job.
My mom resembles Santy from someone she dearly loves. I cannot deny the fact that he helped my mom to cope with loneliness.
The bell rang. Eloise saw everyone standing. They exchanged good mornings with each other. She told them to open their literature book on page 21, Western, and Northern European Folklore.
The lesson started with the question,
"What is your worst nightmare?"
Most of the students answered being chased by a killer, losing a family member, seeing ghosts, etc. While she was waiting for a very interesting answer from her students, what made her stuck in her thought was,
What will be her answer to that question?
She was confused about it because her dreams haunted her every day. Today's nightmare was worse, but tomorrow perhaps the worst. She was spacing out for about a minute. When she finally realized it, she immediately continued the lesson and introduced the topic,
The Legend of Sandman.
