Chapter One
Heidi Page, one of the skiers was with her boyfriend, John Cochran. John's brother, Ben, was a guest at the Colorado resort. He seemed concerned about the negative reactions to the snow beast attacks.
'Bad karma', John said.
'I'm going to ski near the Generator Room', Ben said. He left them alone. The temperature was 41 degrees, and getting colder by the hour. Other people were eating, and drinking, in the Dining Area. Ben frowned. The door was open. He saw scratches on the edge of the door; he heard the sound of growling. He screamed, as the snow beast's claws raked across his throat.
Blood spilled downward, and his body crashed near the door.

The Sheriff saw the dead body.
'Deputy Holt, Ben Cochran is dead, like the others. Call it in. The Coroner will have to be informed, and his wife too'.
'Roger that Sheriff. There's been too much deaths so far. The guests are freaking out. Carrie is concerned'.
'I know. Tell Franklin Simpkins that we have to close the Resort', the Sheriff said.
'Okay, Sheriff. Meet me at the Dining Room for lunch. Over'.
'Over', the Sheriff said.

The guests were attending the lavish party.
'I heard that there was a snow beast terrorizing the Resort', Buster Thomas, the Mayor of the town, said.
'It's gone, Mayor', the Sheriff stated.
'How do you know? Three people have died; three too many', Carrie said.
'Look, Carrie. This is a skiing Resort. It brings in the winter dollars', the Sheriff said.
'I know that; Garry knows that'.
Suddenly there was a lot of screaming.
The snow beast roared outside the window.
'EVERYONE LEAVE NOW!', Garry yelled.
Then the Sheriff fired his shot gun at the monster.
The beast roared again, and attacked the windows with its claws.
More shots were fired, then its body fell into the deep snow.
