I had just finished setting up Amazon’s Alexa at my mom’s house.
I had grown up in a small, rural town of milk farmers, where my mom and her family still live to this day. They don’t have much in cool technology, but my mom was excited to have such a smart device, and many of my younger cousins had come to ‘speak to the Alexa.’
One cousin, 17-year-old Juanita, asked what Alexa could do. Anything, I answered.
“Okay,” Juanita smiled, “Alexa, what’s the weather in France?”
‘Which city in France?’ Alexa replied.
Juanita didn’t give it a moments thought. “ITALY, FRANCE!”
