A few years ago, likely three, I remember having a very vivid dream. Since I had this dream, I had been thinking about the world I entered up until now. Since I am not wanting to spoil my future stories, I won't be explaining the other dreams that linked to this one. It kind of motivated me to try and actually control my dreams, but it might take a bit longer till I am able to do so.
When the dream began, I was walking down a dark street, the street lamps was lit up, but they weren't producing much light. There was no one in the area, but I remember hearing an extra set of footsteps as I walked. I eventually arrived on a stone bridge. There were lanterns resting on all corners.333Please respect copyright.PENANAUErRKe7STR
This was where the dream started getting strange. I remember looking across the water and all I saw was complete darkness, there was nothing. A few seconds after, I remember hearing footsteps. I wasn't moving, I was frozen in place staring into the dark. The only thing I could see was the bridge rail I was holding onto. Since I wasn't lucid, I couldn't turn myself around.
I heard the footsteps stop and heard someone snap their fingers. When they did, the darkness disappeared and I was able to see a large city in the distance. It was lifeless at first, but then the lights from the buildings turned on. Someone stopped beside me and leaned on the rail. My dream cut out here and I was walking on the street again.
The only difference between my first time on the street and the second, was that this time I noticed a few silhouettes. Since this part was kind of random, it might've not been necessary to include, but anyways, I reappeared at the bridge again. I turned towards the figure once again and noticed a black haired boy with red eyes.
If you haven't guessed or never read my story, this was Echo. Most of what he said at the moment was gibberish. I would assume it was because I wasn't fully conscious, but their could've been other reasons. Anyways, the only thing I could make out was a few words. "This world is beautiful." he muttered. I agreed.
I remember saying something back, but I don't remember the words. After that, I remember seeing white hair before I woke up. Since there are a few white haired characters in my story, I didn't know who it was for certain. However, I wanted to believe it was Lily, who is another protagonist.
Anyways, this wasn't my first dream about this place. I had a few others before it, and many others after. Since my stories are a recreation of these dreams, it will be likely that the rest of the dreams will be mentioned at some point. Like I said before, I started questioning that dream world. Even though it was a dream, it felt like the world itself was real.
I actually kind of believe it is. In another dream, I remember being in a group with those characters and them mentioning something about 'sending a message'. I kind of saw this as a sign to write about it, but I might do other things with it in the future. I am a bit surprised that I still remember this dream since it was long ago. Anyways, this has gotten a bit long, so I will end it here.
Thanks for reading!
