PROLOGUE
Blue and stormy sky, dry and sandy vegetation, huge and glassy building trying to balance their selves at an equilibrium position as a result to the stormy wind blowing the trees back and forward. The sound of the most dreadful component, brought me back to reality, revealing that I am still at the same state when I shut down. I scratched my eyes with my hands to see the window been flogged with droplets of water. I clean the window to see where we are forcing my eyes to place a state but to no avail. I sat up and yawn signally to mum and dad that I was up.
'Hey, Acquelyn, you are up' my mum says smiling.
'Yeah, where are we now?' I asked putting on my glass.
'We just pass the Westville, we will soon be in new York'.
'Okay, mum' I say; has I stood up to the study room.
We are actually on a huge cyber truck van invented by my dad, Dylan Walter, the richest man in the world and the greatest inventor in the world. So I am Acquelyn Walter, the daughter of the richest man in the world and no one actually knows me. I spent my whole teen life home school and hidden from the world. This is actually the first time I am out and I still can have a view of where we are. It is so hilarious how my whole life turn out to be. It like a snail hidden in it's shell still the bg launch of it's parents first space company tech, if they actually have that knowledge for saying, but then it opens it's shell to a new world and yet still trap in a metallic van and cut short of everything.
HELLO ACQUELYN, HOW ARE YOU says Allison, waking me up from my little mind room.
Allison was actually my thirteen years birthday gift from my parents. She is actually my only friend for the past sixteen years. I do everything with Allison. All my teen life memories was made with this little metallic robot standing in front of me.
HELLOE ACQUELYN, ARE YOU OKAY, she says this time moving to me blinking her huge blue eyes.
'yeah, Allison, I am just ---------
Sad, thinking again in your mind room, she says completing my statement before I could actually say anything.
'Yeah'
'Should I out on the television's
'Nope, I say, don't feel like watching'
'Tennis'
'Nope'
'I'm sorry Allison but can I be left alone, I sat standing up.
'Okay, Miss Acquelyn whatever you want', She says and I shut down.
Before I could take another step the cyber van security alarm went off and the whole power in the van shut down. This only mean one thing which is we are being attacked. I ran to the door but it was locked. Then I heard my mum calling from the other side of the van and I yelled.
'Mum, what's happening' but no reply
'Mum, what's going on'
'Acquel', are you okay.
'I'm good, but what's going on who got us?'
'.........................'
'Mum, mum', I say shouting to a metallic barrier.
I tried steadying myself as the van turn from left to right. I walked blindly to where I left Allison, I switch her on and immediately the power came back on.
'Miss Acquelyn, what's going on?'. I walked quickly to the door but it opened before I could place my hand on the knob revealing my mum.
'Mum, what's happening?, I say but instead of replying she hug me so tight; I tried to shrug her off that this is no time for affection. She eventually stepped back and said, 'Acquelyn, whatever you do never lose this', she opened her hand revealing a silver necklace attached to a golden key and a silver key at the end.
'Mum, what are you talking about?', I say looking straight at her.
'There is no time to explain dear, all you have to do now is survive that's what I need you to do, she says holding the edge of the door her posture back.
'I don't understand', I say
'You will if you survive'
'Everlyn, we have to go now', my dad said had he walked in.
'Dad what's going on, everything is happening so fast and I don't have time to process it all, I say trying not to let the tears forming inside my eyes to drop. I actually understand what's happening but at this state I can't agree to that reality. It can never happen; I kept repeating it in my head.
'Acquelyn, I'm really sorry but you have to go'
'I can't leave you guys here's
'The emergency laser bike isn't enough for all of us' which means one person has to go, one person has to survive, he says has he hug me and kissed my forehead.
'We love you Acquel, they both said at the same time. I collected the necklace and put it on.
'I love you too', I say and we all hugged.
'Allison'
'Yes, Mrs. Walter'
'Whatever happens deliver Acquel to the secret headquarters'
'Copy, Mrs. Walter, I will deliver Acquel to the S.H.Q'
'Goodbye, Acquelyn'
'Goodbye', I say has I and Allison left the van to the laser bike.
'So what's the plan'
' We will distract them so Acquel can escape even if it means setting the cyber van a blaze'
'For Acquelyn'. As we drove out of the cyber van to the hill, I looked back to see mum and dad been shoved out of the road. The cyber truck rolled down the hill and it kept going down, damages at each profile. I screamed out of the blue 'nooooooooo'
'Over there, she's trying to escape', yelled a man on a power bike. He started shooting at us but Allison took care of him. We troubled along the road with the rest of the truck following us, but we were out numbered and at that very moment the last shot hit both I and Allison and we fell off the road. We rolled down and Allison hit the ground so hard she lost some parts of her body. I lost the grip of Allison and stumble down the hill until I reached a huge cliff and that when I fell, everything fell, my whole reality crumbled to little particles of rocks on a solid ground. So this is the world I was so curious to see and this is what the universe returns to me has a gift. This is the world dad was hiding me from, first look pay me a whole disaster; a whip second everything turned upside down. Is this reality or am I dreaming 'What happens next?', I said as I landed on the ground.
